“6 years after a ridiculously traumatic experience I was convinced by a good friend to undertake some therapy. A different medically qualified friend recommended Catherine and her advice was duly followed. Following a couple of consultations we agreed to try the therapy along with the EMDR technique which Catherine practices. I have been genuinely surprised at the effectiveness of this approach. It's now 5 months later, and I am signed off. My background is as a research scientist, and I observe that I sleep better, am more effective at work and am generally far happier and function far better. Friends, including the one who recommended I try therapy, commented openly from the start of treatment that there was a noticeable improvement in my demeanour and mood. I had left this 6 years as I am used to overcoming pretty much anything that life throws at me. After undertaking this treatment I really do wish I had done it far earlier. Catherine took time to express concerns that there were some ongoing issues which may not be appropriate for EMDR; yet I have to report excellent results even for those ongoing concerns (more major irritation's, rather than traumatic events). I truly hope you don't find yourself in a position where you need therapy for major trauma class events - but if you do, I can highly recommend Dr Catherine Baverstock.”

“This dentist is so good... I travel 55 miles for my appointments!!! Such a friendly and welcoming team. I suffer bad anxiety and its the main reason I come here. I've never experienced such a good dentist (Julia), dental nurses and hygienists that are so highly equipped with the knowledge to deal with worried patients especially ones with such high anxiety like myself. I avoided dentists for many years due to bad experiences, would only go when i had to and highly reccomend this one. I now have full bill of dental health and regularly attend (which Iavoided before due to my anxiety). I have, sadly, witnessed staff on the recieving end of abuse whilst there though - whilst they are so calm, collected and professional in such circumstance. I'd like to remind the general public that these are staff who go home to loved ones, who have feelings, at work doing a job to the best of their ability - and I can really vouch for that. Please remember to be kind. This practice stands out way above the rest- and I've had my share on dental practices!”
