“New Barnet Cabs.The 8 passenger people provider (Mercedes Vito) was truly spacious. We had lots of baggage along with hand baggage however this was all carried away thoroughly leaving all of us with a lot of leg space in the car. Our journey to Gatwick was smooth and an unwinded and a great start to our holiday. Bottles of water were available in the car for everyone. All in all an excellent experience, however. “I’ve always been a bit nervous when booking a taxi in the past. I’ve had experiences where the taxi didn’t turn up and left us wondering how are we going to get to where we need to go. Metro Radio Cars were superb. I booked a taxi to and from St Pancras a couple of weeks in advance. The operator was very friendly and diligent and I received a text message confirming the booking immediately. I called up a week later to adjust the booking, again no problem. On the day of travel, I received a text message in advance confirming the booking and that my taxi was en route. The driver, Wit, was fantastic, ever so friendly and helpful. My kids loved him. On the way home, same process and same driver! My kids were so pleased to see him! He helped with all our luggage and made a point of saying goodbye to the kids. What’s more the price was far more reasonable than many other taxi companies! Would definitely recommend!”
