From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and guided to our reserved table. The staff’s professionalism and attentiveness were evident from the outset, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The service was seamless, with the team demonstrating a deep knowledge of the menu and offering helpful recommendations. The selection of tapas we ordered reflected the authentic flavours of Greek cuisine. Each dish was thoughtfully presented, and the freshness of the ingredients was noticeable. Overall, the flavours were well-balanced and met our expectations. The only minor drawback was that the calamari was slightly saltier than I would have preferred, but this did not significantly detract from the overall experience. The quality of the ingredients, the cooking techniques, and the attention to detail in the seasoning were all impressive. By Manchester standards, this restaurant delivers a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience, both in terms of taste and service. “Had our Christmas do here on Friday. Staff were SO lovely and efficient, food was phenomenal. The vegan mushroom pie was excellent, plenty of extra gravy provided. Really nice night thank you.”

“The Black Friar has been amazing to work with for our friendship group's annual Christmas lunch. They made the entire booking process extremely easy, with all the T&Cs clearly outlined from the start. On the day we were looked after by Jess, who was incredible, very quick to respond to any issues raised, never kept anyone waiting, so accommodating with our various quirks (like pictures), and was easy to reach when needed without making it seem like hovering. And always with a smile, of course. Truly, truly a standout member of the team deserving of all the praise. The food at the Black Friar was also divine, incredibly generous portions (that I admit, have bested me) and every bite was a pleasure for all the senses. Our whole group was very happy with the afternoon we got to spend there and we will definitely be looking into coming back for next year's annual Christmas lunch, a total gem of a pub.”

“My first time at Everyman and I was blown away by the fantastic customer service. As soon as we arrived we were wonderful greeted and shown a table before we waited for the screen to be open. A lovely guy with a beard and glasses came and sat to take our order - I couldn’t get over how incredibly friendly and polite he was. The service was worth every penny and the food was delicious.”

“A charming little restaurant with beautiful, wholesome, Polish food. The service was excellent too, the team were super friendly and very keen to chat! The food arrived promptly and everything was clearly freshly made and tasted delicious. We had starters and mains washed down with honey beer (yum!) and finished off with homemade Polish cakes. The portions were generous too. I would definitely go back, we had a great experience.”

“We came here as a lunch stop before attending a football game. There was a good range of drinks, my partner really liked the lager selection and that they were an own brand of beer! We wanted a light lunch where we both had the chicken wraps and some chip to share the food was DELICIOUS and it was a good varied menu, we will definitely look to come back in the future the next time we’re in Manchester!”

“We had a lovely dinner here the other night to celebrate our anniversary and our server was the wonderful Nancy who despite having a full section of tables throughout our entire meal was so attentive and professional. She made us feel so welcome and helped make our celebration so special. We loved our dinner and will return for other special occasions because of the attention to detail Nancy had and how all of her reccomendations hit the mark.”

“Great traditional pub. Great entertainment on Friday nights for music & karaoke. The managers are great as are the staff. Great atmosphere and lovely group of regulars. Through the day, there is a beer garden at the back which is a sun trap and great for a relaxing pint after work.”

“Traditional pub in Salford. 10 mins walk from Old Trafford. A United pub but not overly so. Good place to watch football in general but they have Liverpool on a little too often. Good quality food and crazy value if you get the right deal. Staff are always friendly and helpful, especially Kieran.”

“Visited over Patrick’s weekend and really enjoyed liked the relaxed atmosphere. The place had plenty of screens showing the football, which was a nice. They also have Thief Street in the kitchen, the food was fantastic, great portion sizes and tasted delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. Drinks are on the pricey side, with a pint of Guinness costing £6.70, but since we’re not big drinkers, we just had one drink each so it didn't affect us too much”

“Good service and variety of food prices are good as well, we tried the sushi and the crispy pork belly which were very tasty, even in a match day the service was pretty fast which honestly was unexpected in a very good way. The burger was really tasty the right size”

The atmosphere is lovely, and we love the location, overlooking exchange square, it feels so light and bright. We mostly had pasta, and one risotto, and all the food was excellent. Overall, a really great experience, and I would recommend this restaurant to pretty much anyone.”
