“Thoroughly impressed! Our daughter has just finished her first term at the United Reform Church in Bramhall. Tutors are excellent and clearly very competent, they really seem able to engage the children and in the first term put on a 15-20min production where you could see all the children were having a blast. All the children remained engaged and all the parents were so proud! Highly recommend!”

“My two girls have been with Damien Hey Dance Academy for six months, and we couldn’t be happier. Both Damien and Sam always go above and beyond to make sure all of their students achieve what they are capable of, but more importantly provide a nurturing environment that their kids feel happy in and are made to feel part of the DHDA family as soon as they walk through the door for the first time! They are fully invested from day one! Both girls already having danced for a number of years at a different school, we made the move to DHDA and the incredible progress they have both made absolutely makes the 490 mile round trip for lessons worth it! They come home enthusiastic and excited for the next one. I cannot thank Damien and Sam enough for all they do! If I could give more than five stars on here I would!”

With that being said,… This establishment is made with love, passion, blood, sweat, and determination that came from its owner, Jori Lakars, aka Hott Mama, aka The Mama who always gave herself goals and standards that benefited the world to the fullest and implemented the highest standards possible. A quick glance at her path shows that she has been successful in the industry well known in a way that the number of 5 reviews or social media followers will not reflect. I met her personally only once before she moved to England about 17 years ago. She was working in a popular tattoo shop in Wicker Park that I won’t name. ( if you know, you know) the had long ravenous hair and substantially fewer tattoos. Although I had met many women who were in the industry, few were celebrated by their peers. The shop posted a large banner in the front window that said ‘we have a female tattoo artist.’ I had never seen that before even in a liberal city like Chicago. Soon after that, every shop in the area had at least one ‘female.’ She went on to work at many of the best rated shops and worked on the best artists in the business as clients. When she moved, we were sad yet proud to see that she was following her passion overseas. She would wonder up one of the top artists anywhere she worked. She finally got her own place and put every ounce of work into it. Sadly, she had just acquired two young brilliant talents just recently. A couple of weeks ago, she passed away in a car accident without any warning. I t is a shock that she is gone and her energy is eternally resting. I have known her half of my life and I have never known anyone like her. A true inspiration and individual person who is driven to create. If you are lucky enough to have had a moment with her, you know what I mean. Love to her local community from Chicago. We were all lucky enough to be together for as long as we could,…… Cheers to Jori.”

She was very accommodating to my needs of frequent breaks and even offered me cups of tea. The result of my tattoo was even better than what I had originally imagined. 6 months on, my tattoo still looks just as amazing. I could not be more happier with the result. “We went to see the opening night of Aladdin and it was absolutely fantastic. We all had a brilliant time. The show itself was so entertaining having us all laughing and singing or clapping along. “Andrew was so lovely, and he took a design both me and my husband to be had deigned so it had a bit of both of us on it and made it come to full fruition! He had also designed a ring for my Nanna, a few years back, so after she had passed away & I had inherited it, then had it stolen from me I wanted it recreated in white gold. So very kindly, Andrew dug out the design specs for me, sized my finger and it was also perfect! I won’t go anywhere else for my jewellery needs/wants, and I would ONLY USE HIS NAME if anyone asked me for a recommendation! I suggest everyone who want a fair price for any kind of jewellery bespoke or otherwise, to go to see him themselves before going anywhere else! In the pictures, the two hands you can see our wedding bands and the recreation on my middle finger, Andrew also made the ring in the second picture for my grandfather when he first opened his shop I believe, but it was being worn by my father in this picture, and the third picture gives you a better look at my wedding ring, it’s a white gold spinner with a small black diamond and filigree letters all the way around saying, I will love you forever, in Spanish! “Amazing place, staff are lovely and kind. I've had one of my tattoos done here and few piercings. My daughter has also had her belly and upper lobes done here and there all great. I'm going back next week to get another piercing. Nice and cheap too. Highly recommend.”
