“Been living at Globe House for almost a year now and feel very at home. The apartment is finished to a high standard and building facilities are fantastic - who doesn’t want to unwind in a spa! The management team are brilliant, nothing is ever too much trouble and any problems are solved straight away. Additionally, they are all so friendly and it’s lovely to pop by for a chat. Location is great, really easy to pop into the city and a very short walk to the train station. I would highly recommend living here!”

“Great traditional pub. Great entertainment on Friday nights for music & karaoke. The managers are great as are the staff. Great atmosphere and lovely group of regulars. Through the day, there is a beer garden at the back which is a sun trap and great for a relaxing pint after work.”

“Brilliant shop, but it went downhill for a time. The freezers were empty, so I stopped using it, I started going to Urmston, and the shop was packed out. The freezers were full, so that was my new go-to, so I thought I would give Eccles another try and guess what a new manager was in town and the shop was packed with great freezer products. So, five stars and a brilliant shop.”

“I had an incredible experience at the buffet! The food was top-notch—everything was fresh, and the variety was impressive. I especially appreciated the clean and inviting atmosphere, and the service was spot on. If they could add a few African dishes, like jollof rice, and improve the signage for the different menu areas, that would make it even better. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Caitlin. Overall, I can't thank them enough for a fantastic time!”

“To me, it is one of the best branches of Nero’s in the country. All the baristas here are decent and make tasty coffee and also very friendly. The menu was taken on 13 Apr 2024. Quiet, nice and cozy ambience. There are also four or five tables outside at the front and a couple more tables at the back. There are a few pay-at-machine parking spaces just outside the cafe and also two or three (non-free) parking lots around. (Browncross Street Car park is an expensive place and you might want to use Si P Spaw Street Arches Car park which is much cheaper. However, it is not so obvious where the boundary lies between the two car parks so watch out for it as there seem to be many people who got fined for wrong parking there.)”

“Visited over Patrick’s weekend and really enjoyed liked the relaxed atmosphere. The place had plenty of screens showing the football, which was a nice. They also have Thief Street in the kitchen, the food was fantastic, great portion sizes and tasted delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. Drinks are on the pricey side, with a pint of Guinness costing £6.70, but since we’re not big drinkers, we just had one drink each so it didn't affect us too much”

“Fantastic lunch here. The food was to die for and the freshly squeezed orange juice was gorgeous. The mozzarella focaccia was so flavourful and the strawberry and vanilla sundae was absolutely next level. Our server, Esin was so lovely and attentive and even surprised me with a piece of passion fruit cheesecake (which tasted incredible) as I’m halfway through my pregnancy and was out shopping with my mum. Will definitely be returning!”

“Have been here multiple times and always get the chicken/beef fried ho fun and Hamon Style Vermicelli Noodles for a sweet and tangy taste. The food never disappoints. There is a huge variety of dishes to choose from. Ambience and atmosphere is cosy and authentic. Not an appropriate setting for a romantic date. The portions are large, can easily share 1 between 2.”

“Handy shop. It's always open; like when you need something you've forgotten at the supermarket. Sells fresh fruit & veg, alcohol, store cupboard essentials, sweets and crisps. A huge advantage is the fact that you can have your Amazon orders sent here via Click & Collect. I've used this service lots of times and never had a problem. No more waiting for deliveries and the long opening hours take the guess work out of receiving your order. Amazon email you when the item is available to collect. Staff have a.lways been friendly and helpful.”

“The staff are very friendly and open-minded. The room itself is very nice and has been renovated, and the bathroom has also been modernized. High praise for the ladies down at the bar, which also serves as the reception desk. On my first evening, I asked for a new room because the ventilation was too loud, and I was promptly given a new one. Breakfast was good aswell. A good experience :-)”

Staff are so kind and friendly and always able to accommodate requests. Absolutely delicious pizzas and great sides, will always be ordering from here. 10/10 recommend!”

“I’m a DJ currently on tour around the UK and stopped by Slow Boat for a quick bite and honestly, it was one of the best takeaway meals I’ve had on the road. The food was amazing, packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper chicken were absolutely top-tier, crispy, well-seasoned, and full of that classic wok-fried flavour. The staff were so polite and helpful, making the whole experience even better. You can tell they really care about their customers. Great portion sizes, fair prices, and everything came out fresh and hot. Highly recommend Slow Boat if you’re anywhere nearby, proper comfort food and great service all around. “10/10 - The Stay Inn Manchester is everything you want from a budget hotel, but much, much more. Right on the doorstep of the City Centre, and very affordable. Where this ‘Budget’ Hotel differs from others in the field, is that this one is supremely well run, with an array of truly fantastic staff, for who, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed for two weeks during a difficult house move, and The Stay Inn Manchester bent over backwards to accommodate us, and help us during this very busy time. Friendly - Clean - Fantastic. I can thoroughly recommend this Hotel to you.”
