“My absolute go to Chinese in the area. The portions are very well sized for the money and most dishes come with the rice or chips included. The food is always very hot and well presented. The fire chow mein and seaweed is our favourite! Definitely recommend as the best Chinese in the area, and we love supporting local.”

“Been enjoying roast meats all over Asia for the past 40 years. My first time at Park View ordering 3 meats and rice was spectacular, l portions were double than l would normally get from Manchester. “A very pleasant coffee shop just outside Manchester Victoria railway station. Part of Hotel Indigo. Surprisingly large with a choice of comfortable rooms and seats. Cakes and breakfast butties available. Newspapers free to read. Taking Alic on a rare outing. Boothroyd chose him for this trip. There ia also a bar that I've never been to! Americano £3. Lovely staff.”

“Went in with the Mrs for some scran. She had french toast I had the full breakfast. Both tasted amazing. Presentation of the food was nice. The hot drinks were amazingly good. Credit to the coffee machine they use- definitely high quality. The shop is all tones of grey and blush and looks top. They have this smart looking glass salon section where my mrs went for lazer hair removal before food. Fun concept for the ladies or men who like aesthetics. Definitely go again.”

“I came here for my birthday meal and I would recommend to anyone, the service was lovely everything was well explained without being overbearing, tablets are intuitive and easy to order from. We ordered 5 dishes each for £21 per person which gave us 10 to share between us and we struggled to finish, for small plates they’re very filling. Though we ordered primarily sushi, there’s lots of variety in flavours and options for dietary restrictions so there’s something everyone would be happy with here. The atmosphere is lovely, and we love the location, overlooking exchange square, it feels so light and bright. We mostly had pasta, and one risotto, and all the food was excellent. “I’m a DJ currently on tour around the UK and stopped by Slow Boat for a quick bite and honestly, it was one of the best takeaway meals I’ve had on the road. The food was amazing, packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper chicken were absolutely top-tier, crispy, well-seasoned, and full of that classic wok-fried flavour. The staff were so polite and helpful, making the whole experience even better. You can tell they really care about their customers. Great portion sizes, fair prices, and everything came out fresh and hot. Highly recommend Slow Boat if you’re anywhere nearby, proper comfort food and great service all around. “I was put off coming here to eat because of some of the reviews but decided to try it tonight as I am on a course and in Manchester for 6 weeks . I had the kebab sandwich with donner kebab and lamb seekh kebab and a side portion of chips . I ordered online and collected myself . The kebab and chips were amazing , 5 star all the way . Really hot and fresh and good quality food . The restaurant is immaculately clean , you could eat off the floor . The man who served me was lovely , polite and helpful. I was £15 for my meal and it was enough for 2 people so very reasonable in price . I will definitely be back . It has also taught me not to rely on reviews from others as my experience was a 5 star one yet other reviews are very different . I would highly recommend , give it a go and make your own mind up . “I ordered here via Deliveroo last week, had egg fried rice, kimchi pancake and salt and pepper chicken. The food was amazing and I didn’t notice or watch how long it would take to deliver but it felt like it was delivered in good time. The driver from the restaurant brought it right to my door (unlike other Deliveroo drivers who will make you come down) I loved the food so much I added it on my list of places to eat back at and did a google search which is where I saw the poor reviews on here. I’m surprised to see some of them as I had a pleasant experience - I would say to give it a chance.”

“Our go-to Chinese takeaway in Pendlebury. Never had an issue with this place. We've been using it for 7+ years. Sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice, salt and pepper chips, veggie spring rolls. All standard, and very tasty. Almost always piping hot, occasionally warm but that's to be expected sometimes when you get it delivered. It's never cold. Though. Super cheap. Easy to order via telephone. Drivers always arrive with a smile.”
