“Fabulous hair salon and every stylist I've had is exceptional no matter what level. I am more than happy to wing it and see if any one of them is available for a cut. I went today after 18 months due to breaking my knee and Nichola did my hair. Not only did she do a fabulous job, she gave me some really valuable advice. Even John Lee commented on the cut and I felt like a million dollars leaving the salon after a really difficult 12 months. Even the hair wash and massage was fabulous ....and they have tvs too now! For me, this is the best salon in Bolton and each and every one of the stylists and staff are quite frankly fabulous. I cannot praise them enough and unbeknown to them, they also helped me out massively when I first broke my knee by washing my hair. I still have to properly thank them for that and I will do. Thank you John Lee and your team.... you are all fabulous!”

“We were delighted when we collected our three dogs after a 9 day stay at Pine Lodge. They were happy, obviously pleased to see us and looked clean and cared for. As all three are long haired the obvious care to brushing and eye cleaning was noticeable. We saw lovely photographs of them running around and looking obviously happy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pine Lodge as Sean and Julie have a very obvious natural ability and caring nature with the dogs. We have rebooked for their next stay and feel confident in leaving them with Julie and Sean at Pine Lodge. Definitely five star!”

“Laura is so helpful and so nice when choosing what piercings to get. She's very calming and talks you through the whole process of getting the piercings. She also gave lots of advice about caring for the piercings so they heal nicely. Overall, a really great experience and would recommend if your getting your first piercing or your thirtieth.”

“I pass the shop on my way to and from work and it's always a highlight as the pavement and window displays are so stunning. I recently, finally made a detour to pop in and see what delights were inside. I spent some time happily browsing all the amazing gift items and floral displays and was drawn to the terrariums that have been created by the owner. I eventually bought a succulent in a small terrarium. As I'm not experienced with terrariums I wanted to start small. I was given full care guidelines on purchasing which I've been following. I'm delighted with my choice and the plant is still looking as healthy as when I bought it. I also bought a different Echeveria in a small pot as it's a type I hadn't seen before. This was also a very happy and healthy little plant and has even just started to flower. I'm so excited as I've never had an Echeveria flower before. The owner was so friendly and helpful and is clearly very creative and talented. I highly recommend the shop and wish I hadn't taken so long to stop and venture inside!”

“What can I say about The Dawg House, such a fantastic place for our Cockapoo Henry. He gets so excited when you just say ‘ the dawg house’ & can hardly sit down when we are going. The staff are so professional & you can tell how much they love the dogs. To us it’s better than we could wish for. Well worth the money & the things they do are just so fantastic, from photos to videos to cards at holiday times (Christmas, Easter etc). “The best kennels around! My staffy has recently had a trial stay here for 2 nights. I used a different kennels in Bury last year and can safely say Shelleys' kennels is 10/10. The staff were so lovely on arrival, came out to the car to greet us and made both myself and my dog feel very welcome. I was shown around the kennels whilst another member of staff took my dog to play and the kennels are very clean and tidy and the facilities are brilliant! “Our cat Tilly, always stays here when we go away. Exceptionally friendly staff and the individual 'rooms' the cats stay in are very clean and have little doors which lead to a small outside space. Reasonably priced too. Wouldn't even consider putting Tilly anywhere else.”
