“The owner David puts on various speciality nights , tonight was a Thai night and all the food was prepared and cooked by his partner Sai .. It was awesome, she is an amazing cook, the food was outstanding and made me feel like i was actually back in Thailand .. at £30 per head probably the best Thai meal i have ever had in the UK ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Quick and friendly service, a decent selection for a small outlet and reasonable prices. The Café itself is located inside the Music and Drama centre.”
“Had a weekend away in the Peak District and was visiting nearby towns. Came across this lovely little cafe in a small town not to far from where we were staying (Whaley bridge). We ordered the egg and avacado toast which was yummy!! The hot chocolate was really rich and just perfect. What attracted me to this cafe was the mostly vegetarian menu. The cafe was also a walking distance from Millennium walkway is another great place to visit!”
“Great pies, lovely cup of coffee, lots and lots of choice for booze. The lady was also very lovely and welcoming. Will be back.”
“Fantastic service from Crown Bedrooms They managed to make an awkward space look great whilst providing me with lots of storage. Service from start to finish was brilliant. Highly recommended.”
“Great lunch during work Popped in, purchased a bagel and sat by one of the seats by the window. It was very peaceful, the bagel was delicious and so was the coffee. The cafe is really bright and open, making it a good spot to have a chill hang-out.”
“Great, cozy cafe for a winter morning coffee & pie. The Chai latte was nice & sweet and the keylime pie was amazing. Easily the best keylime pie I've ever had! Happily coming back soon!”
“This is one of our local go-to places and it kept us sane throughout the autumn and spring lockdowns. Great coffee and friendly service, top tunes and now toasties and also booze! What's not to like? The seating is outdoors but some of it is covered and they have blankets for when it's cold. Top marks!”
“Proper shop! Great selection of high quality, fresh produce at reasonable prices, from lovely people. Sandwiches are consistently excellent, quite possibly the best money can buy. Very highly recommend!”
“So lucky to have this wonderful business on the doorstep. Fantastic service, great prices and their love of dogs shines through. The ladies clearly enjoy what they do and are very professional in all aspects. Ederson was completely at ease and thoroughly enjoyed the grooming. I would have no hesitation in recommending Martha, Betty & Co. and will certainly be using them on a regular basis.”
“I recently visited this café, and while the atmosphere and menu were impressive on their own, what truly elevated the experience was the service provided by David, one of the baristas behind the bar. His presence alone seems to set the tone for the entire front-of-house operation. From the moment I walked in, David greeted me with a level of warmth and attentiveness that felt genuinely welcoming rather than rehearsed. He has that rare balance of professionalism and approachability—quick to offer guidance on the menu but never in a way that feels pushy. When I mentioned I was looking for something new to try, he asked a few thoughtful questions about flavor preferences and then recommended a single-origin pour-over he felt would suit my taste. He explained the origin, tasting notes, and brewing process with an enthusiasm that felt authentic, not pretentious. The coffee itself was outstanding—clean, balanced, and clearly prepared with precision. What stood out even more was the care David took while preparing it: checking the grind, timing the extraction, and serving it with a brief explanation of what to expect. It’s the kind of attention to detail that shows he takes pride in his craft. Beyond the coffee, David’s presence contributes to the overall atmosphere of the café. He moves with efficiency during busy stretches without ever making customers feel rushed. I noticed him quietly anticipating needs—refreshing water glasses, wiping down the bar between orders, and checking in with guests at the perfect moments. He also seems to have built rapport with many regulars, greeting them by name and remembering their usual orders, which says a lot about both his consistency and the community feel he helps foster. In an industry where service can often feel transactional, David’s approach stands out. He brings expertise, personality, and an obvious passion for coffee, turning a simple visit into something memorable. If you stop by this café, I’d highly recommend ordering at the bar—you’ll likely learn something new and leave with a drink that’s crafted with exceptional care.”
“This is the best breakfast I've had in years. We had the large breakfast and couldn't manage it all. Everything is cooked to order, it's hot and fresh, and just a few steps better quality than almost everywhere else we have stopped for breakfast. This was exceptional and I won't hesitate to recommend Cafe Se7en. We will definitely be back.”
“Morrison’s is one of the best grocery stores around in the United Kingdom. This place has every household item and Everything you need. It is a good place for families and the prices are comparatively lower than other supermarkets. I saw many people love going there and is a great place which is recommended for you.”
“I have been visiting this Costa for at least 13 years maybe more. I have always enjoyed the quality of the coffee but a couple of weeks ago I was visiting Costa with my daughters and just as I had given my order I received some unexpected news via a phone call and i had to leave the store to continue the conversation. Whilst i did this my teen daughters stayed in the store where two members of staff kindly continued to serve them their drinks and get them seated. When I returned into Costa, the two members of staff could see i was overwhelmed and offered kindness and helped complete my order. Today I revisited the same Costa and was greeted by the same members of staff who remembered who I was and asked how things were and said they had been thinking of me. This absolutely blew me away, Costa management and head quarters should be so proud and honoured to have such kind and caring people working for their company, the names of these very special people are Nikki and Amy. Thank you to these ladies for showing such compassion, your moment of kindness and giving me your time has filled me with such positivity and strength. I had to write this review especially to say thank you. I would also like to mention Sophie who is an exceptional Barista and always makes me feel very welcome. I love this store. You have a great team, Thank you. X”
“I can highly recommend the homemade cheese and onion pie. The best I have ever eaten !”
“We held a small children’s party at Yogi and would absolutely recommend it - amazing food and such a lovely helpful team. The brownies, blondies and sausage rolls were especially delicious too!”
