Especially David always greets everyone with a big smile and so much care, making guests feel welcome and wanting to come back time and time again! I've become a regular without even realising it and looking forward to many more bruches in the future! Would 100% recommend!”

“This is an absolute treat! Instead of being in France due to industrial action, we sought to bring France to us and so glad we did. The food was high quality and in comfortable surroundings. Steak tartare as good as I have ever had (minus the egg yolk, because this in Britain!). A touch on the pricey side, but in this particular case, you do get what you pay for. Very good”

The fire chow mein and seaweed is our favourite! Definitely recommend as the best Chinese in the area, and we love supporting local.”

“I am so glad this store opened in Media City. It was badly needed. I come in here nearly every day for groceries. I’m never disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially if I get stuck with the self service tills. There is a wide range of goods available, certainly enough to keep you going if you live in Media City. I would recommend getting the Co-Op App and becoming a member. It only costs £1 and you get lots of savings on your shopping. All you need to do is scan your bar code when you pay and you’ll see the savings. The store is situated near several apartment buildings and there is a car park and two hotels next to it. There are also many bars and restaurants nearby too so it’s a handy stop after an evening out. There are often price reductions in the evenings too if you’re looking for a bargain. “Order a take-out as its close to mine . Food piping hot even when I've walked 10 mins back to my place. Love the chicken tikka Korma there , one of the best Indian kormas I've had . Had a takeout a few times and always lovely food. Service with a smile , friendly definitely will be regular now .”

It's also very reasonably priced. No real negatives to report: a couple of minor things could have been better on our food (e.g. toasting/warming the bagel before adding the ingredients), but they're very minor. We will definitely come back and I'll get a bacon sandwich on the way to work soon.”

“The Black Friar has been amazing to work with for our friendship group's annual Christmas lunch. They made the entire booking process extremely easy, with all the T&Cs clearly outlined from the start. On the day we were looked after by Jess, who was incredible, very quick to respond to any issues raised, never kept anyone waiting, so accommodating with our various quirks (like pictures), and was easy to reach when needed without making it seem like hovering. And always with a smile, of course. Truly, truly a standout member of the team deserving of all the praise. The food at the Black Friar was also divine, incredibly generous portions (that I admit, have bested me) and every bite was a pleasure for all the senses. Our whole group was very happy with the afternoon we got to spend there and we will definitely be looking into coming back for next year's annual Christmas lunch, a total gem of a pub.”

“Tattu Manchester is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food was absolutely delicious — the highlight for me was the sea bass fillet steamed, which was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, creating a great atmosphere for dining. Prices are a bit on the high side, but definitely worth it for the quality of the food, the stunning interior, and the attentive service. The food arrived promptly and everything was clearly freshly made and tasted delicious. We had starters and mains washed down with honey beer (yum!) and finished off with homemade Polish cakes.
