Kaizen-Do Karate is lucky to teach our LIFESKILL & Character Development programme at the school to many of its students. The students are always well behaved and show Respect and Discipline in all the sessions. The staff are nice and approachable. What really stands out though is that as soon as you walk through the doors you can feel a nice 'family' environment. “Absolutely brilliant school, my son has been here for 2 years now after moving from a mainstream school. I have to say the move from mainstream to a specialised school, was one of the best decisions I have ever had to make as a parent. They are brilliant with him, he is always happy to go to school, which is completely different to when he was at the old school since he never wanted to go there. He settled in really well, they had loads of transition days to help him get used to the idea of going there, I don't think they needed to though, I think he settled as soon as he went through the door, all the staff are so friendly and helpful, if there is anything you need help with they will do their best to help in anyway they possibly can. They are brilliant with my boy, they have made him happy to be at school, the support he receives is top notch and I would recommend this school a million times over.”

“Here at this school, I actually learn stuff. Unlike most of the people in this review section who don't know anything, I go to this school. I'm not even 'popular', in fact I'm one of the most quiet people in my classes. I still learn things, in fact, I learn better than most of the kids in my class. Probably because I have high patience and tolerance, but it's a good school with teachers that care about its pupils, unlike most of the people in this review section, who are probably just looking for a school to abuse. Oh, and, there's a reservoir near Waterhead, but I go practically every day and don't see anything there.”
