Quaint café in Manchester

“Lovely little hidden gem of a cafe. Really tasty food & drinks, a great atmosphere. I've lived in Mossley all my life and only found out about the existence of this place recently, but I'm definitely glad I did. Went back today (my third visit) to find a new menu. Food still of a very good quality, but I preferred the breakfast sandwich that was on the old menu. The crispy potato skins were a strange addition. I'm all for not throwing away food, but they weren't something I'd try again.”

“Nice cafe, with a very pleasant owner, a good variety menu, my wife and i, were visiting for breakfast, 1 veggie breakfast, 1 medium size breakfast, both hit the spot, washed down with a pot of tea, which we shared, a good 2 cups each. Made a nice change from the sterile, bland pub breakfast. As the cafe used much better quality ingredients,the butchers sausages were very tasty.”

“Katie did a fantastic job with our end-of-tenancy clean. The tenant had left the property in an absolutely horrendous state, but Katie quickly took care of everything. Her communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was incredibly friendly and professional. She arranged for rubbish and furniture to be removed and disposed of, followed by a deep clean—all at short notice. The transformation was incredible—the place was a million times better afterwards! I will be recommending Katie and Maids of Cheshire to all my friends and family.”

“Had a weekend away in the Peak District and was visiting nearby towns. Came across this lovely little cafe in a small town not to far from where we were staying (Whaley bridge). We ordered the egg and avacado toast which was yummy!! The hot chocolate was really rich and just perfect. What attracted me to this cafe was the mostly vegetarian menu. The cafe was also a walking distance from Millennium walkway is another great place to visit!”

“Such an amazing place for breakfast/brunch! My absolute favourite spot, and not just for the great food, but also the cozy atmosphere (also dog friendly!), and the brilliant service! Especially David always greets everyone with a big smile and so much care, making guests feel welcome and wanting to come back time and time again! I've become a regular without even realising it and looking forward to many more bruches in the future! Would 100% recommend!”

“Visited many times & never had a bad experience. Lovely little play corner for children. Also had an afternoon tea baby shower for a friend not long ago, after the new owners took over. They did a fantastic job & having the place to ourselves worked perfectly. Thank you!”

“The aesthetic in this place is phenomenal. I love the Bangladeshi touch to everything. You can tell they have put in a lot of effort and it does not disappoint. “Recommended by a friend. Had a Biscoff Latte and Nutella Latte (oat milk) and a Pistachio, cream scone. Blimey! This was EPIC. Considering we are from Devon and frequent many cafes and tried loads of scones with Devon Cream this was the best EVER! Highly recommend. Good value too!”

“Love this place, it truly is a hidden gem in Wilmslow. My sanctuary to go and work in peace, staff are amazing from Becky leading the way with her big smile it really feels like home. Food as you can see is always yummy and allows me to be at peace whilst working or even if friends want to pop in to have lunch it's the best treat for loved ones!”

“We arrived at Bean & Bun just as they were closing, but the staff were very welcoming and accommodating; we didn’t feel rushed. We had a nice meal that was made fresh, and to our tastes. “This is the best breakfast I've had in years. We had the large breakfast and couldn't manage it all. Everything is cooked to order, it's hot and fresh, and just a few steps better quality than almost everywhere else we have stopped for breakfast. This was exceptional and I won't hesitate to recommend Cafe Se7en. We will definitely be back.”

“Visited the coffee shop at lunch time today, lovely atmosphere about the place, it was busy, the staff were attentive and cheerful, our drinks were served lovely and hot, followed by our food which was lovely and fresh, accompanied by a healthy side salad. There are good menu choices available, along with daily specials, all in all very good indeed, 100% recommended.”
