From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and guided to our reserved table. The staff’s professionalism and attentiveness were evident from the outset, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The service was seamless, with the team demonstrating a deep knowledge of the menu and offering helpful recommendations. The selection of tapas we ordered reflected the authentic flavours of Greek cuisine. Each dish was thoughtfully presented, and the freshness of the ingredients was noticeable. Overall, the flavours were well-balanced and met our expectations. The only minor drawback was that the calamari was slightly saltier than I would have preferred, but this did not significantly detract from the overall experience. “I ate here with my son this afternoon. We had a main each and shared a side dish. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food, it was delicious, fresh and well presented. They were good portion sizes, plenty for us and it wasn’t a long wait. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. The young lady serving us was friendly, polite and also helpful when we enquired about different dishes. £44 for our meals and a drink each was good value. We will definitely be back and will visit again with friends.”

“My sister and I attended a Thai cookery experience at Thaikhun in Soinningfields Manchester. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole session. It was very well organised starting with a hot drink on arrival and a cocktail or mocktail with the main course that we had cooked. Noon and Layla were excellent teachers, explaining all the ingredients and processes in detail and making the whole experience interesting and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this as a fun thing to do with family and/or friends. We left with an apron, a book of recipes, a 15% discount voucher for the restaurant and leftovers from the starter and main course we had cooked.”

“It’s my first time with the restaurant. Fortunately, it was a nice experience through delivery service, as it was fast and I got warm fresh food. I ordered double cheesed burger, it was a good and delicious but too meaty as it has four layers of meat, therefore I preferred the cheesed burger which has only two layers of meat which also considered as a good portion sandwich. Also, I had one freebird chicken burger, it was fresh, simple and hot. It’s not the best but it was very good. All cost me around 30 pounds, but it was enough for 2 normal eaters.”

“Had a lovely family meal here, and the staff were so friendly and accomodating. Management here is clearly exceptional, as the service was very quick and everyone was very polite and helpful. A special mention to Rob who went above and beyond for my family, making sure all the food and drinks were ok (I can confirm they were delicious). “The food was delicious, the preparation didn't take so long. First I got the starter which is the mozzarella sticks with sauce and the pizza came after that by around 10 min. I got the stretched dough so the dough was thin but the pizza looked bigger, Beef pizza. And lastly was the dessert, vanilla cheese cake it was too sweet and they put their 6 year anniversary small chocolate next to it. So far the service was good since I was there at 12:30 am on Monday. Not many people were around since it's working time. The music was fine not a big fan of songs and stuff.”

“I’m a DJ currently on tour around the UK and stopped by Slow Boat for a quick bite and honestly, it was one of the best takeaway meals I’ve had on the road. The food was amazing, packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper chicken were absolutely top-tier, crispy, well-seasoned, and full of that classic wok-fried flavour. The staff were so polite and helpful, making the whole experience even better. You can tell they really care about their customers. Great portion sizes, fair prices, and everything came out fresh and hot. Highly recommend Slow Boat if you’re anywhere nearby, proper comfort food and great service all around.
