“I have this week been sent to Kettering General Hospital A&E by my GP, although it was busy and getting busier all the time I was seen quickly by a triage nurse and sent on for various tests that resulted in me spending the night in the CCU. The following day I was given various proceedures and eventually discharged late in the afternoon.During the time I was there I witnessed professional, caring staff doing their best to care for their patients and I have nothing but admiration and gratitude for the care I was given. Kettering and the surrounding towns have grown enormously in the fifty plus years since we moved here, if there is a problem with our locaal NHS it is not with the staff, but with the funding that has not kept pace with that growth.”
