    “My first impressions of Paul and the team for Clumber Consultancy was that they were really empathetic to the fact that there were quite a few people in the room that had not only lost their jobs of many years but also the working relationships that were built along the way when our company became insolvent. There was so much more appreciation for the situation we found ourselves in (quite unexpectedly) compared to the administrators, who during our first encounter with them, were very 'matter of fact'. Clumber gave ample time and opportunity for people to ask any questions, including quite a few of us that had no choice but to attend the meeting virtually. Paul was able to guide us all through the initial process for claiming unpaid wages, holiday, redundancy and lieu of notice, through the redundancy payment service, and he also gave us the reassurance that Clumber would be on hand to support us all and help to complete a lot of the hard work with the claims to help make the whole thing go as quickly and as smoothly as possible. On top of this, I also ended up receiving one-to-one assistance from Paul with a claim that I had made (incorrectly)for expenses that were outstanding, which should actually have been treated as unpaid wages. I was contacted outside of work hours on two occasions to be given assurances that Clumber were pursuing this for me with HMRC and when the time came, given yet more assistance with regards to filling out the online claims forms. I went from not expecting to see the money owed to me again, to having it paid into my account within a couple of weeks, and I can't tell you how extremely handy this came in at the time. I can't thank Paul and the rest of his team at Clumber enough for what they were able to do to help me to deal with a difficult situation and for the speed in which they were able to act on things, meaning the impact to my family was significantly reduced. I am now back in full time employment having received everything that I was entitled to claim for through the RPS, largely due to the assistance I received from everyone at Clumber.”
