“At good place for people with special needs”
“A super school, led by a very caring head.”
“I am currently working at the school as an agency worker. I have never worked in a more friendly atmosphere from staff and children alike. The children are centre to everything that is done at the school, it is an absolute pleasure to go to work every day.”
“Today, with my business Immersive Theatres, I delivered a 7m digital planetarium experience to 420 Reception to Year 6 pupils at St Johns Primary Academy. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and found the hall prepared just as I had requested. The day was well organised with all groups arriving on time. The excited students enjoyed a rich selection of content: peering up at the planetarium night sky; visiting the International Space Station; learning about a future colonised Solar System and how British scientists search for real aliens. Thank you St Johns Primary Academy for a very pleasant visit.”
“does anyone know if this is still open?”
“I like this place cuz it's my school I'm in yr4”
“My primary school. Amazing memories of this place.”
“Brilliant nursery. Great staff,very friendly”
“I attended Yarlet between 2009 and 2015 and had an amazing time. In particular, I loved the music and sport. Thanks to the dedication of my teachers and all the activities which motivated me, I left with a double scholarship to Repton School before transferring to Denstone College. Yarlet set me up for the future and I look forward to studying keyboard at the Royal Northern College of Music in September.”
“This Nursery is one of the best for your children to learn at a young age. Both my children have been here and loved it, they have a small animal corner which the children love learning about and seeing them every time they go. Staff are very friendly and will help with anything you need and if you have any problems the manager is always there to help. The Nursery it self is very clean and child safe and food is spot on”
“Amazing school friendly environment”

“Brilliant school, so welcoming and such a nurturing and caring environment During my visit it is clear that there is a focus on lots of key areas to support children to reach potential A lovely colourful calming environment where everyone is respectful and considerate Community spirit is also an area that shines through”
“Was bullied to suicidal thoughts at my old school that shall remain nameless, and was moved to here near the end of Year 8. In less than a year I was making friends, engaging in classroom activities and actually enjoying my time at school. Can't recommend enough.”
“lovely school, i went there for primary”
“A happy beginning to education.”
“I've been attending the Introduction to Kiln Formed Glass short course for Adults, and it's been excellent. I've already signed up for the next level course and fully expect I'll want to do the advanced course after that. Our teacher, Hugh, is both knowledgeable and laid back, just what you want from a leisure course. The Winsford campus is small and wonderfully quiet, and as a person with accessibility needs (I have M.E./CFS and am on the autism spectrum) I can honestly say that the interactions I've had with staff regarding information gathering and health & safety has been both thorough and sensitively handled. It's a very supportive and positive environment.”
“ok I am polly Harvey I was ta this school I am 14 yeas old now the teacher was ben moody and etc plz write back I would love to hear from u”
“We have worked at this school and members of staff and management are both dedicated to the students and very professional to work with.”
“Lovely school with a friendly, approachable team of teaching staff. It is small but you shouldn't let this put you off as the children don't miss out on anything. In fact I think they get to experience more than the children in larger primary schools. Both my children are extremely happy and settled here.”
