Very disappointed. Delivery service poor with luke warm pizza, garlic bread and wings arriving from less than half a mile from the restaurant. Very underwhelmed. An add on - they offered a free pizza because the service was so slow. It turns out though you only get it if you spend £15 plus delivery!!! (Knocked another star off for this).
If I could give -1 star I really would. That pizza was terrible. The bbq base was sour, there was more sauce than cheese, the bottom of the pizza was cardboard it was clearly left in the oven too long. The wait time was crazy I ordered for collection it said it was ready yet I waited an extra 25minutes after arriving. Whoever was on the evening shift yesterday from 6pm needs to be reevaluated. I gave my friend a slice to try and I tried one we both got diahorrea
First Experience:- I recently visited a Papa John's branch, Manchester Central (M1 5AN) Store on Dec 10-2024 with Order Number- 76413598 and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I entered, the atmosphere felt welcoming, but the real highlight of my visit was the exceptional service provided by Ajay, one of the representatives at the store. Ajay is an incredibly kind, polite, and professional individual who went above and beyond to make my visit memorable. He patiently helped me decide on my order, offering thoughtful suggestions and ensuring that my preferences were met perfectly. His joyful and cheerful demeanor made the entire experience even more pleasant, leaving a lasting impression. What truly sets Ajay apart is his dedication to quality. I collected my order and took it home by bus, braving the cold and windy weather, but even then, the pizza was still hot and absolutely delicious. It was clear that Ajay takes great pride in his work and ensures the highest standard of preparation. Ajay's outstanding service and friendly nature are a true asset to Papa John's. His ability to connect with customers and create a positive experience is rare and highly commendable. We ordered 2 pizzas from Papa John's and it was a disaster from start to finish. First, the delivery took over an hour, and when it finally arrived, the pizzas were cold. I called them, and they gave a lame excuse about the roads being "busy." Then, as if that wasn’t bad enough, we discovered a hair baked into the pizza! Disgusted, I called back, and the manager was unbelievably rude, dismissing it and saying "no, no, it's impossible." Well, the picture speaks for itself—you can clearly see the hair baked right in! This place doesn’t care about quality or hygiene, and the customer service is appalling. Absolutely disappointed and will never order here again. Awful
I ordered from here at around 5pm. Only just got my order 2 hrs later and the order was wrong. I paid for a pepperoni stuffed crust and they just gave me a regular stuffed crust and forgot the dips. The delivery driver was aggressive after the two hour wait and I will not be ordering from here again. A lot of the reviews here seem like they're done by staff themselves being how generous some of them are.
I like the Hawaiian pizza in this place the most, I always order the 5 pounds deal of mini pizza with drink, I find the dough to taste the best, it has that taste of good pizza that I always missed from when I was little
The worst ever ever ever pizza and service. Worst! We've ordered two pizzas at 18:38 and received them at 20:05. Initially upon ordering their system said it would take 25 minutes, so until 7pm or so to have them. I gave them a call at 19:30 and have been told that within 15 minutes the pizzas will be with me (they came after 40 minutes..). Self explanatory that both pizzas were cold and not at all appetizing. Not to mention that we had company waiting for us to dine together and they didn't even get to eat as they had to leave. They said due to traffic it took longer (Google maps said it was 14 minutes with the traffic, so they were clearly lying!!) Never again!
My first time eating here, heard of this franchise before, never had it before. Have to say, Loved the flavours and spice, "The Mexican" Pizza was nice, I was randomly passing by Papa Johns Pizza after a run around the city, ordered one small pizza for some carbs intake, and I was satisfied with the taste of this pizza, fresh and hot pizza, great combination of ingredients and a little bit of spice adding to it, makes it an even better pizza, listed two spicy on the menu, but don't worry about it, it's friendly spicy not that you can't handle, would be great to come back and try other pizzas in bigger portions from the store soon, thanks for the great pizza, that's all I needed after stretching my legs a bit running in 16 degrees breezy weather ! Loved it !!!
