   Lemon chicken wings were delicious. My lasagne was fresh and lovely and tasty but not very filling, not good value at £16. Husbands pepperoni pizza was very bland with not much sauce, not a crispy base and certainly not worth nearly £20. However the service was good and we were given a discount due to our comments.

   Myself, my sister and my 2 young children with a double pushchair visited for lunch on the 24th October. The guy who seated up Mike was clearly very stressed and unable to keep up with how busy the place was. He made me feel a burden and inconvenience because of the double pushchair wouldn’t fit through the tablets where he wanted us to dump the pushchair. I pointed to an empty table that would be more suitable for my family where we wouldn’t inconvenience other guests but were rudely told no. When the pushchair wouldn’t fit where he wanted it to be reluctantly put us where I had asked originally. I understand it was busy but this was not customer service with a smile and I will not be returning for it. I ordered two adult pizzas, child pizza and a child’s lasagne. The lasagne arrived when we had already eaten 3/4 of the meal. This was compensated but still not great for my two children to share a small meal whilst they waited. The only positive I can give for this restaurant was the service and the friendliness of the waitress Rute. She was kind and caring and made a fuss of my family and helped serve us with our meal. She is an asset to the restaurant and the only bright side I could see. She was truly service with a smile where everyone else was miserable.

   A typical pizza express offering housed in the dining area at the York designer outlet. It's a nice, bright, inviting environment which is always busy. The service is quick and efficient and the food is good. All the Pizza Express outlets seem to be able to keep the same good quality of food offering. Today was no different.

   Just had another great tasting meal here after an afternoons shopping , we were very well looked after as my wife has a dairy intolerance … they really catered for her needs in a 1st class manor… unlike a lot of other places we go …. We both have really enjoyed our meal here especially the polenta chips !! Which were done to perfection , we can’t wait till next time we visit

   Nice food though one of our pizzas was a bit underdone. Quick and pleasant service. Very expensive when there is no deals on though!

   First time I have been to a pizza express and will defo be going back, the service was very good and helpful as one of us had a allergy and the help us with that and the pizza was amazing.
