Lovely food and drinks but what caught my eye most was the service! We had Chloe as our server. Pink glasses and blondish brown hair. She was very friendly and just a lovely personality!

Visited today and was pre warned about the wait time for food (40 mins) although surprised as it was early in the day I did appreciate that it was half term and honestly, the staff couldn't have done more to try to keep the food and service ticking over. We did wait around an hour but I do agree with other commenters that it is no fault of the staff, there just needs to be more of them! Polite and friendly service, apologies for wait times and food was delicious. Thank you to the staff for making it a worthwhile visit overall.

We love pizza express and all the staff are wonderful. We came in this evening and the food was lovely. Sadly there was a long wait between starters and mains and we did leave without dessert as we waited quite a while for our server to come back but I can see he was rushed off his feet so it’s understandable. The only comment I’d like to add is it would be great if when ordering extra garlic butter it came with the dough balls as unfortunately today we missed out and it was then brought over after the starters had been eaten so it was essentially wasted. Other than that the staff are fab and the food is always yummy :)

We recently visited Pizza Express in Liverpool ONE for an early evening meal and had an overall enjoyable experience. After a short wait at the entrance, we were offered a choice of where to sit, which was appreciated. Once seated, we were given menus, though we did have to catch our server's attention after a little wait to let them know we were ready to order. We ordered our drinks and food together, as we’d already made our choices. The dough balls arrived quickly and, as always, were great, warm, soft, and served with garlic butter. The pizzas took a little longer to come out, but we assumed this was due to them being freshly prepared. When they did arrive, both were excellent, we had the American Leggera and a custom pizza with ham, chicken, and pepperoni, both were full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The open-plan kitchen is a great touch and always nice to see the team working hard. The restaurant is in a brilliant location and has a relaxed atmosphere, though it was quieter than expected for the time of day. This made the initial slowness in service a bit surprising, but our server was friendly and polite throughout. All in all, a good visit and we’re looking forward to returning again soon.

Really friendly service and staff member even told us about the £1 pizza deal which was kind! Prompt service for starter and main, could’ve had another drink but didn’t get chance to ask. Also ordered another dough balls after the first, which didn’t arrive… luckily wasn’t charged for this. Easy to pay online with the app thankfully we found this as only appeared to be one server! Great quality food though as always!

Initial service was pleasant, the lovely brunette lad who helped seat us prewarned there was a half hour wait on food but we were happy to wait. It took twenty minutes for someone to come over to take our drink and food order. We only wanted two cokes and by that point already decided on what we wanted food wise. The dough balls we got were lovely. However when I asked to have no cheese in my main dish, I was met with a stunned look before being told it couldn’t be accommodated for and would still be in the sauce of what I wanted. I ordered anyway, however this isn’t a good reflection of flexibility restaurant wise incase anyone was allergic simply because it was more effort. It took fifty minutes for our mains to come and in that time no one had come over to check on us. The food arrived warm. Neither dish actually had any flavour to it. It was just lukewarm pasta. No one checked back on us during or after the meal. It took us a half hour from that point to actually get our bill, I wanted more drinks but by that point I was so over the service and wanted to leave/spend my money elsewhere.

We went as a family of 10 with two young children. We had a great time; it's very family friendly and we were well looked after. The food is fine but not outstanding and not cheap; we can get two courses, drinks and coffee at an independent Italian in the city for the price of one course and drink here, so we wouldn't dine here as a couple; but for a large family outing it can't be beaten, and we were well looked after by the staff.

Plenty of gluten free pizza options, could do with more options for gluten free pasta and desserts though. Would definitely recommend for fellow coeliacs still and will visit again!

This pizza express is based at the top of Liverpool one with a load of other restaurants. You can make a reservation to secure a table or you are able to walk in and see what they have available when you are ready. I visited with a party of 4 and as you can see the table we were placed on was only very small so if you would like a bigger table I would suggest making a reservation. The restaurant was very busy when we visited and there is not much space between tables so this might be something to think about. The staff are friendly and will check into make sure everything is ok. The food did not take to long to arrive and was delicious. I would like to visit again in the future.
