   The best meal I’ve ever had, hands down. Alice, our bartender / server was phenomenal, so personable and friendly and the food was just out of this world. I’ll be recommending to everyone and definitely will be back. Definitely recommend the sake pairing and getting the extra wagu course - single handily the best bite of food I’ve ever had! Thank you so much for having us - it was an honour and a privilege.

   Booked a deluxe lunch omakase with my wife for her birthday. The experience is unbeatable! I would like to give an over 5 stars rating as it's not just good - we can feel every single aspect of the restaurant including not just the food, service, atmosphere but also the attention to details, presentation, environment, utensils, cutlery...... We had an absolute 2 hours of back-to-Japan experience. Thank you for making my wife's birthday unforgettable.

Today, I had the pleasure of sitting at the counter and placing my trust entirely in the hands of the chef — the essence of Omakase, which translates to “I’ll leave it to you.” What followed was a masterclass in precision, restraint, and reverence for ingredients. Each dish was crafted with exceptional attention to detail, using only the finest seasonal and impeccably sourced ingredients. It’s clear that quality is never compromised here — every bite spoke volumes of the chef’s skill, discipline, and dedication to authentic Japanese technique. Having dined at many Japanese and fine dining establishments across the UK, I can say Sushi Nakamura is one of the best. If you’re seeking a genuine, detail-driven Omakase experience outside the capital, this is the place. Thank you for your warm hospitality and for an unforgettable meal. I’ll be back.

   One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Feels really intimate, perfect for a special occasion. Service was super attentive and personal, the dining room is beautiful and the food is phenomenal. Unreal quality of ingredients and amazing to watch a master of his craft at work. Sake pairing was also delicious.

   Sushi Nakamura delivers outstanding sushi with Japanese authenticity that is rarely found outside of London. The fish is meticulously chosen based on seasonality and freshness. His homemade ginger is also amongst the best thats available in Japanese restaurants in the UK. Service is impeccable, as you would expect from Japanese hospitality. The sushi chef is friendly and funny, and the automated Japanese toilet is a fun bonus. Highly recommended for sushi enthusiasts!
