Ordered food and you don’t get pickle tray with popadoms unless you pat extra for it I ordered our food for delivery and when it came I questioned where the pickle tray was I was told I had to pay extra for it but I wasn’t asked if I wanted it and from anywhere Els it comes as standard with popadoms will never use again
I had a lovely meal here with my husband and children. We love a curry and have enjoyed lots of takeaways from here over the years. We decided to visit the restaurant for a post Christmas treat and we're so glad we did- we had some great sides, curries, rice and naan and it was all delicious. Raj was very welcoming and friendly. It was also really pretty and comfortable inside. We will definitely be back.
I had a great meal here. We went on a Monday night, the service was quick and Raj was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and there were lots of vegetarian options. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are good, there is the option to do takeaway if you have leftovers. I would recommend this restaurant, and eating at the restaurant for a relaxed but proper dining experience.
DO NOT order online. Food came well over an hour late, phoned them numerous times to be told its out for delivery….. phoned 20 mins later to be told its going to be another 15 mins. I can appreciate places get busy, just be honest instead of lying and being rude. Never again!
If I could honestly give zero stars, that’s exactly what I’d do! The service from this restaurant is absolutely disgusting! Ordered at 18:50 with a delivery time of 50 mins. 2 hours later, still no food! After speaking to the restaurant, I was told the food would be delivered soon, it’s out and the driver should be here soon. Another 25 mins passed, still no food! Rang the restaurant again, the driver has been out, the food is on the hot plate waiting, the food is out for delivery! After a barrage of abuse from the restaurant following me asking for a refund, they hung up! They can’t offer a refund because we ordered online and it’s too difficult to do! Absolutely disgusting service and I will be reporting them to trading standards for keeping my money, with no service!
Had a takeaway delivered tonight. Last few meals we've had have been awful and bland. What's happened to the place? Was always excellent
Lovely food and would recommend anything on the menu - very tasty. We ate in the restaurant and unfortunately the children that I can only assume belonged to the staff we sat on the table next to us with ipads and phones watching films/playing games which was did not create a pleasant atmosphere whilst trying to eat dinner.
Just ordered a meal after they have re-opened, Because we used to like their food.....What a load of RUBBISH. Have you changed your Chef? If so, Get the old one back!!!! The lime pickle was inedible, It had like stones in it.... The Chicken Kahari used to be really tasty, Now it just burns your throat. The wife's chicken masala was cold and rubbery. And the Chapatis were like cardboard..... Get your act together guys, or I'll be going elsewhere.... 1 more chance next weekend.
None delivery for 2.5hrs so I called up. They had misplaced our order but found on computer and said "We be there 20 mins". 30 mins later food arrived cold and wrong items. Foodhub policy says call the takeaway for wrong delivery / refund so i did. Rude man on phone says acknowledges sent wrong item but "will not give refund... you get from foodhub" I send right food.. "No" I said "That's going to be over 4hrs now... I want refund for items I've ordered and you have not delivered". Guy shouts "NO!.. From foodhub" and puts phone down. So no refund or way to raise complaint on FOODHUB. (robotic chat function loops back to "contact takeaway direct".) Shop never did bring the correct food and refuses to discuss refund. I Will not be coming back here I am afraid. Future customers should be prepared for cold food and wrong orders without refund.
