Great little pub that's tucked away near the cathedral. Had a great selection of real ales ipas and lagers. They had a live band playing when we went and you could see them on screens around the pub, very welcoming atmosphere

Very friendly and lively evening, great band. Staff very helpful, made my friend a cup on a Friday night.

We popped into this bustling pub when an Iron Maiden tribute band was playing. The venue is great and they have a good selection of beers on offer. The band were a really good standard and there are screens all around the venue, so you can see the band wherever you are stood, or sat.

Had a meal here, massive BMTH fans. The restaurant is 100% vegan, out of the 6 of us only 2 were vegans, usually when I have vegan food it's "ok" at best, but this was different. I had the hex mex, one of the best burgers I've ever had, even the fries tasted better than normal - but they're just fries, how is this possible? Out of the other 5 people, 1 said it was she best burger he's ever had, and the other 4 all said its some of the best food they've ever had. The place itself is aesthetically pleasing and the music being played was very much to our taste, everything was clean and tidy. Only knocked 1 star off service because somewhere along the line they managed to forget mine and a friends meal and we had to wait 20 minutes for it, but we didn't care because the food was that nice I didn't care, I was munching on my wife's waffle fries and a friends nachos while I was waiting, swallow the food almost orgasmicslly.

Don't know what to make of it. Traditional pub in the middle of town, but just one big room. Friendly staff. Well jumpered staff. Convenient for the tram when they're running properly.

This place is not a bad pub, it's on a back road and seems to have a nice crowd that use the place. Good selection of drinks at reasonable prices for a city centre pub. Plus it does baby Guiness

A nice bar, with a compact but homely layout. There was live music, and it was not to my taste (I didn’t recognise a single song) but was still pretty good. I personally found the music a little too loud, particularly the drums. The crash was ringing in my ears for almost 3 hours, and I barely remember the music because of it. You cannot hold any conversations in the bar because the music is so loud that you’ll need to holler at the top of your lungs to get anything across. On a good note though, the drinks I got were good. And, I was pretty happy with the seats and lighting. I’m clearly not the main demographic of this place, you may enjoy it more if you like live music on the louder side and are a senior. Even so, overall it was a nice experience and I would come back on non-music nights

Great selection of ales, friendly staff. It's like stepping into a local boozer, they do food but I didn't get to order any. Live music every Friday and Saturday night.

I really enjoyed my nights out at the Church House. The bands were amazing, made for a superb and unique atmosphere. The staff and the overall quality was fantastic. Lastly, if you are a fan of music-themed decor - you're definitely in the right place! 5+stars
