Yes again been charged for the same item twice and it's always a discounted item I'm so glad I don't use this store very often, always check your receipts folks.
Love shopping here but staff never seem happy and don't go out if there way to help customers.
Today was my second visit here and I was helped by Shan and marcey both very nice and attentive, busy lots of choice but bright store and nice lay out will be back
Nice shop easy to navigate. Ilike the app some good deals. Plenty of parking just be careful of going over the hour and a half limit. There's now a self service which is great for small shops.
I only go here for a few items. I do like the shop but I prefer to do the bulk of my shopping at an English store. It's a bit annoying how they close checkouts when you're standing in a queue, you then have to move to another checkout.
I had a really bad experience with the cashier 1 old brunette lady . She was really rude and almost threw the items in my bag. I normally don’t report those issues but it’s not the first time that this happens and I don’t think that’s how you should treat a customer
"I am very disappointed with my experience at Lidl. I visit this supermarket frequently, but every time I come in the morning, the lady at checkout 1 does not allow me to take all the items I purchased. On one occasion, she prevented me from taking two small packs of water, and today, again, she prevented me from taking a small and a large pack. I buy these items to supply my home and family, so it is frustrating when I cannot take everything I need. Additionally, I have had an item scanned twice at the checkout. I believe that could have been avoided if some staff members were trained to provide more careful and attentive service. I want to make it clear that there are wonderful staff members who work at Lidl and provide excellent service to customers. As consumers, we deserve quality service and an environment that respects our needs, especially in a city where people from diverse nationalities live and should be treated equally, without discrimination. I have just been in the Lidl shop in Northwich and the woman on the till was blunt impolite, impatient and rude. I was returning some sports clothing and explained to her what I was doing. She didn't listen, kept repeating herself and threw the receipt in with my shopping. Before my daughter had chance to pick up her shopping, the same woman started putting the next customers shopping through. I do not expect to be treated like this and your staff need to have lessons in customer service !!!!!! Preferably from the staff at the Middlewich Lidl because their customer service is impeccable.
Sometimes missing basic or usual supplies. Getting better at catering for vegetarians and vegans. But bigger supermarkets better. Always queuing for payment. Need a scan yourself isle especially for those with a few items. Usual cheap prices but watch out for quality.
Never really used the shop in the past but recently whilst visiting the other shops nearby, I have popped in for a couple of things but each time I can't get a trolley or basket of any kind without having to hunt them down by the tills. They don't have a large range of items so I couldn't imagine being able to do a weekly shop there, but what they do sell seems decent quality and reasonably priced
