   Chow mein was fantastic, very fresh and al dente veg. Veg spring rolls home made and v good, egg fried was great with lovely curry. I prefer a lighter batter than the one used on fan of on the S+P chicken, it’s more like batter for battering fish. I Want to go back for Black bean And wonton char sui soup. Owner is lovely also

   Fantastic Chinese food, I would say it was the best I’ve ever had. The person who owns this place was lovely, genuine and she cares for her customers/food service. Very attentive. I’d definitely come here again. Bonus, there’s no nut dishes, which my partner has a nut allergy, so it was nice that they don’t service it.

   As a description, cafe doesnt do this iconic Liverpool eaterie justice, though there are staples such as burgers etc, its the home made Chinese food that takes top spot, hey, it's not the Ritz, but it doesn't pretend to be, it offers supremely well cooked food including exceptional home made items such as spring rolls etc, done perfectly. Lovely owners, great food, whats not to like !

   Proper dock road cafe. English breakfast and lunch options. No frills but don’t be put off, the food is the headliner. If you want to try the famous Chinese food prepared to wait. Not like a Chinese takeaway, food thrown out in minutes. All prepared fresh with quality ingredients. I loved it there and will definitely be back. Disappointed no Spring rolls left.

   The writing on the wall says "Hidden Gem" and every word spoken is the truth. Dined here today with the wife and the food and service were both impeccable. The staff treated us like serve known them for years and it was so relaxing. Can't wait to go back for more! Encore !

   I was with a small group, some of whom had been before on more than one occasion and highly recommended Sans. My main reservation was that as coeliac, my choice from the menu was likely to be limited. Hey! They have gluten free soy sauce. They know what gluten free means (not everyone does) and produced me an amazing chicken fried rice. Most people will not understand the relevance of this. Those that know will know.
