The staff were really friendly and helpful. I went around 7ish so most of the dishes looked finished or dried up slightly and did not look the most appealing. I chose a dish that looked more juicy and it was okay. Not spectacular but good. The katsu bun was nice so will definitely return for more.

Both times I’ve been here, the raw salmon and tuna in the sushi boxes has tasted old and a bit weird—either musty and attic-like or too fishy. My partner agrees. The rest of the food is perfectly fine (noodles, katsu, kimchi…) but I’m always a little worried about getting sick from the fish. I’m not sure how long each box is left to sit in the fridge. I’ve never had a problem at the Redhill, Reigate or even Durham branches, but I won’t be returning here for sushi at any rate.

Oh my god, what a place! I wanted to try something new, and thought of ordering Kokoro, and I chose the right option of takeaway. In my opinion, it's one of the most nicest Asian restaurants in the area. The spring rolls are to die for, they are exquisite, Katsu chicken is beautiful, but you have to put your sauce on yourself, but I don't care. Sweet and sour chicken is just wow, It's too nice to describe. Egg fried rice is nice, Noodles are as well, but if you want them, beware, there's quite a few vegetables. Kokoro is so nice, I like it, hang on, that's a understatement, I love it! Keep it up.

Ordered the salmon teriyaki. First f apl the salmon wasnt great at all and the whole meal was overloaded with sauce, we basically throw both in the bin. (Cost around £11) also there was so much oil in both meals including our spring rolls (which also went in the bin !) Not very happy.

Wanted a quick lunch meal to take away. I ordered the Katsu Curry. Very generous portion! A decent amount of rice and so much chicken! I couldn't believe it when the server kept cutting the chicken and putting it in my container. I will be honest and say I have had better katsu currys elsewhere, but it was still great value for money for a very filling hot lunch!

The food is good but portion was small. The tubs were not filled as they normally are at other Kokoro branches. Also was charged 50p extra for the sauce for my Katsu Curry which hasn’t happened at other branches!

Kokoro is a superb addition to the food offerings in Caterham. It has a great variety of asian staples like Chinese sweet and sour, Japanese curry/teriyaki, and Korean bulgogi. The sushi here is delicious and the only place nearby where it's available. By the way, don't overlook the bulgogi. It's not as eye catching as some of the other dishes but it's packed full of great flavours. If you're ordering the spicy tofu, just know that the spice level is no joke! Been here three times and the customer service has been stellar during every visit. Look forward to visiting again soon.

So happy with my experience here. Such good quality food and the staff are a delight. So glad there is a Kokoro in Caterham now. I recommend the chicken katsu so tender and just go good. I love sushi so now I can get some from an authentic sushi shop. Definitely coming here again.

Delicious huge tub of tofu Katsu curry, perfectly cooked rice and crispy tofu in a tasty katsu sauce. Fantastic value, quick friendly service and lots of choice for meat and non-meat eaters. This place deserves to do well, fab new edition to shopping centre.
