This was a great find with an amazing range of oriental foods that you can't find in the supermarks. We picked up everything we needed for a fabulous Malasian fish meal.
I have to say I can spend ages in this shop guessing what the products are. Loads of storage and wonderful food to explore. The staff are helpful and friendly. Can't wait to go again.
Very good Oriental supermarket, they have lots of goods that you can't buy in the likes of Morrisons/ Tesco etc. It would be good if they could do an occasional cookery course to help me through the fantastic array of ingredients they have on sale.
Nice variety of south Asian ingredients and helpful staff. I doubt I'll go again though because of the very loud and annoying music as it gave me a headache, I couldn't hear my friend across and we had to scream to be able to hear each. A man started singing a karaoke in the middle of our time there and i think it was a little out of place, and extremely loud.
Card going accept if you spending more than 10 pounds. Some iteam bit expensive. All most South aisa's items are available example like China.
My mum found mould on the food that she bought from the shop and unfortunately, this wasn’t the first time. A couple weeks ago, my mum bought some dried fish. Later on, she found mould on it and what’s more surprising is that the food wasn’t even expired but luckily enough, she was able to return it and earn her money back. We gave them another chance and continued to shop there until something similar happened with the hopia snack my mum bought. She happened to eat some of the mouldy hopia before realising the unusual taste, she could’ve ended up really ill. We looked at the expiration date and saw that it was expired by December 2022, expired three months ago! To me it seems the staff are lazy to regularly check their stock before selling them to their customers, disgusting. Never shopping at this place again.
Great supermarket lots of choice spent far more than we originally thought!
Great selection of food, spices and ingredients from all over Asia as well as the Caribbean and Africa. Fresh, dried, frozen, canned, bottled... if you want it, they probably stock it. Prices are good and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
A vast array of Asian foods, helpful friendly staff. They even bag their own noodles, you're sure to find that little gem for cooking.
