I absoutely LOVE yara chorlton! The food is exceptional, and we often get it as a takeaway and its outstanding and always really amazing quality! All the warm starters, lamb and aubergine and green bean dishes are so packed with favour! Also the rice and lentils we always order and is also divine!

First time at Yara Chorlton. We checked out the menu before going to have a rough idea of what to expect & prices. We went on a Sunday which it was quiet, but that's how we like it. The location was decorated lovely & the atmosphere was nice whilst enjoying the background music. The staff were lovely who greeted us & served us. No complaints. Warm & friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. Each course was just wonderful, with everyone enjoying what they ordered. We could not find a fault. Everything was cooked to perfection, seasoned beautifully. We are super happy with our visit and we definitely think we have found our new favourite restaurant. Cannot wait to return to try out other items on the menu. I booked online which was easy to do. Cons- i personally wasn't keen on the arabic coffee, but that's my own taste not the product itself as others enjoyed it. And maybe the bathroom tiles need a little care. Second review: sept 2025. We revisited again recently. We ordered some new items on the menu this time & once again could not fault it. All of us enjoyed what we had ordered. The only little thing was that one of the mains (chicken sultan-i think it was called), doesn't come with any sides. Luckily we had order extra chips without knowing this. Food was lovely & yummy. No complaints. Service was once again welcoming, friendly & warm.

Absolutely fantastic food and really friendly staff who are happy to help with any questions you may have. It's my first time trying Lebanese food and I would definitely try it again. At first glance the menu seems pricey but its well worth it considering the generous portion sizes

We had lunch here for the first time today and wish we had discovered Yara sooner. The food was delicious, generous portions and inexpensive. We left full and happy. Will be returning time and again.

Visited the chorlton branch last night on Saturday with great expectations. Very disappointing. Starters just about okay but mains were very below average and few items tasted and looked as though they had been heated in the microwave. At over £55 for the two of us this was simply not worth it given the great choices of similar food around Manchester at a fraction of the cost. To add to our woes the service was horrible with staff who clearly didn’t want to be there nor really wanted us there it would seem!

Nice modern deco and looks very clean. Enough space between tables and chairs so your not squeezing in to sit down. Unfortunately non of the staff came to greet me or any other customer when we walked into the restaurant. When we were seated we had to wait for a while and grab the first member of staff to take our order or for anything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful when we place our orddd More staff needs to be hired. besides staff everything was good.

We came on a Sunday afternoon for a light lunch. There was not a single other person here.. However, having said that it's a nicely presented place with white napkins and tablecloths, the service was great and the food was to die for. They also serve alcohol unlike some middle eastern restaurants and the house wine was delicious and very reasonably priced. Overall I would highly recommend!!

Great atmosphere with Arabic music that puts you in a good mood which matches the good quality of food.

Lovely tasty Lebanese fare that is both delicious and balanced. This is the Charlton branch of Yara and has a large menu selection (only warning is the dishes are filling!). The starters were full of flavour without being too oily. The meat is succulent and well grilled. The bread is fluffy and they sell alcohol here (BYOB is also an option). The decor is a little fancy (maybe kitsch) and the music a tad loud (though it was a little quiet people wise when we went on Friday night). It has a bit of a classy feel to it (as opposed to the home cooked style of Jasmin round the corner). The food is the star here, it's affordable and staff and well presented and professional (though some are new). An enjoyable restaurant and a good shout for good middle Eastern food. Take out and delivery is an option also.
