Been here loads of times, food is always gorgeous and the staff are so lovely! Honestly one of the best restaurants in Liverpool (whether your vegan or not). Definitely the best vegan roast I've had in Liverpool, too!

We have been here a few times, but yesterday we came for a roast dinner and it was the best roast dinner we have ever had since we stopped eating meat 7 years ago. The portion was massive, and all the elements of the roast was just delicious. I must say I giggled at the yorkshire pudding which was just a ball of dough, but I imagine that isn't easy to make vegan. Also the options you get for your roast, is so good. I'm personally not a fan of nut roasts and there wasnt one in sight, so a bonus point from me. On previous occasions we have been for burgers and they're incredible, it makes me hungry just thinking about them. The things they manage to do with mushrooms is amazing too, I remember when I first went I thought I was eating chicken but no, it was mushroom! Definitely worth bringing omnivores to as well, a great place to show them that veggie/vegan food isn't just "rabbit food". Also the drinks are really great, all the cocktails are wonderful. Not much wine on the menu, but thats not much of an issue. This place is honestly 10/10. Staff are lovely and knowledgeable.

I've walked down Duke St for many years but have never ever noticed this place before. I always like to try out a new place, well I thought it was new place, but I was told that it's been in business for 8 years. Anyway its the neon sign saying "BAR" that caught my eye, so had to try it out for a pint. You walk down a few steps to a basement level to get in, but it's like the Tardis inside, it's a lot larger than it looks from outside. It's primarily a vegan restaurant and unfortunately I'm not a vegan but I must say the smell of the food was very enticing. We had just called in for a drink and must say it's a very nice quiet place to have a pint. Staff are very pleasant and brought the drinks to the table for us. I've never called a bar this before but would classify this place a lovely hideaway where no one would find you. So if you'd like a quiet drink in a busy city it's a very good place to go.

So much choice here, it's a bit baffling but the waiter was so helpful and took loads of time to run though all the options with us. Brilliant for vegan 'junk', loaded fries, burgers etc there are also a few home cooked meals like a shepherd's pie and Mac & cheese. Good Chinese from the Woo Tan Scran menu and you can mix and match from both menus for any meal deals. The restaurant is in the basement, so it's got a cosy vibe but no views. The family who own this place obviously put in their heart and soul , thought and a lot of hard work and it really shows. So happy to have visited and also seen amazing Carl Warner art work again!

Best veggie/vegan food I've ever had! Great cocktails, too. They were busy but managed to fit us in. I'm so glad we managed to eat here during our visit to Liverpool. I would come back to Liverpool just to eat here again!

We came to this restaurant on a Tuesday night. We planned a spontaneous trip out in Liverpool for shopping and decided to go here following good reviews! We went for the vegan calamari which was made from mushrooms, and I had the Zinger Burger with Chicken and Bacon loaded fries. My partner went for the Katsu Burger with 4/20 loaded fries. We had draught beer and coffees which were very nice, and the coffee was very cheap and tasty. The service was attentive enough and left us time without being interrupted. The calamari came first and didn’t disappoint. It tasted like the real thing! They nailed it. The burgers arrived shortly after and was a big portion. I’m glad we didn’t get more! My burger (Zinger) was very good and the loaded fries were very enjoyable. The garlic sauce and sriracha was really nice and the vegan chicken and bacon was perfect. The man working was very helpful and accommodating and we will be back if we are in the area!

After accidentally going here without realising it was a vegan restaurant we decided to give it ago as has great reviews. First thing I'll give it credit for the taste, everything was tasty. What I enjoyed less was things not being what we expected. We ordered a Mac & Cheese but it turned out to be pasta in a red sause and apart from a sprinkle of cheese on top there wasn't any cheese in it. Similarly the Mac burger disappointed. There was no taste of cheese and it turned into a sloppy mess with the bread falling apart. As I mentioned the food was tasty but I didn't feel it lived up what we actually ordered. I also think for price it does not live up to the portion quantity it talks about on the website, the Mac & Cheese was no a very big portion. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful.
