I’ve been a few times lately and it’s actually a decent experience since they did the place up. Here’s the lowdown: * The Layout: It feels way less cramped than it used to. They’ve moved things around so you aren't tripping over people, and the bakery section is at the end now—which is a lifesaver because your bread doesn't get crushed by the heavy stuff. * The Food: The fruit and veg are usually really fresh, and honestly, their "Specially Selected" range is as good as the stuff you’d get at M&S for a fraction of the price. * The Staff: They’re super quick. You know how Aldi checkouts are—it’s like an Olympic sport—but the team there is actually quite friendly even when it’s packed. * The Middle Aisle: You’ve got to watch yourself in the middle aisle, though. I went in for milk and almost came out with a wet suit and a power drill. One quick tip: Try to avoid going right at midday on a Saturday if you can. The car park isn't huge and it can get a bit hectic. If you go an hour before they close, it’s much more chill. There isn't as much German canned goods like when they first started.    Aldi Flint, the announcements over the tannoy were in Welsh, this made my holiday to Wales far more authentic although I had no idea what they were going on about.

   Grand kids were coming so we bought two punnets of strawberries and had to take them back next day as they were mouldy, exchanged them was not a problem, put us off going again

   I am doing my shopping with aldi for 6 years. A basket shopping for 5 people is a quarter of shopping for the other shops. Quality wise always fresh good and for no brand name is quait good. Prices have rise just a little.
