Speaking as a disabled shopper, on behalf of myself and my Mother, also disabled and housebound, it is my repeated experience that the Iceland Online Shopping system is not fit for purpose. It offers numerous items for sale that don't get delivered due to being 'out of stock' My question here is, why advertise them online if they're out of stock. Is their system not capable of checking stock before advertising it as available and taking the money for it. Second, Iceland have raised the minimum price of purchases before free delivery is granted, but if you ask for delivery in their shop it is much less of a limit, and they have raised the price of their carrier bags to customers who shop online. My question here goes: Is Iceland deliberately trying to kill off its delivery service? and second, is Iceland in financial trouble? In Flint there is an Iceland Warehouse and an Iceland shop. Perhaps they have stretched themselves too wide in the town when I get staff members asking me not to shop at the Warehouse, but stay loyal to the shop. In addition, in the past, some staff at Iceland store in Flint have asked me NOT to contact Head Office when I have an issue. Why?, I ask. Today, in Flint they told me that I MUST contact Head Office because they can't do anything about billing, when in the past they have arranged refunds and replacement goods for me at Flint. I'm sorry, but the whole working system of Iceland is broken, causing me to have to go to other stores to fulfil my shopping list, and the Flint shop is suffering from competition from their own brand at the Warehouse. That is obvious to others judging by a previous review given here. I suspect that local staff are getting it in the neck from both customers and management, and their delivery service is not fit for purpose where Head Office is concerned. I don't blame the drivers. I blame Head Office for not knowing their bottom from their elbow where customer service is concerned and for having a poor stock management/ordering system online. Yes, they substitute products ordered, but in my experience they have sent me substitutes that I can't eat, and when I've complained, they repeated the same thing again often. In fact the last time I complained that Head Office was behaving ineffectively, they ignored all the points that I made and sent out a standard reply that did not address any of the issues I took the time to raise with them. They did the same again when I challenged their response. Be aware if you deal with Iceland in Flint. It's not the local staff to blame. I strongly suggest their Head office is responsible. If they carry on like this, Malcolm Walker will be back to selling strawberries from a table on the Horseshoe pass.

Two Iceland foods local, Buckley precinct and high street Flint. I use Buckley, good variety of frozen food at reasonable prices. Card and cash payments, easy parking.

Supposed to be a major supplier of slimming world products. However, very minimal stock. Staff said that this is due to Christmas stock taking up shelf space. Went to food warehouse across road, a subsidiary of Iceland and got everything. Seems Iceland is only best for delivery service so long as you stick to basics.

Well stocked frozen food and chilled food. Parking is restricted only space on the road but by spending more than £25 you can get free home delivery. Store card available to collect bonus points
