I tried under my given account got absolutely bad customer service from about 4-6 people, one telling lie that I'd sworn at her, but none was putting me through to a manager, (our rights to) because we feel a customer service person doesn't give proper customer skills, then I'd said 4 times i have disabilities so was feeling being fobbed off. Im our day of much better customer service skills being taught by our employers meant we were more often correct, but no, not today's lot, 1 said, well its our customer service skills that matter, "er no, are you telling me that our better customer service training was insignificant compared to today's?" I asked! I wouldn't ask to speak to a manager if today's customer service staff were actually good at their job. Irs Diabolical to think businesses think like this now

Ordered a delivery which was due between 8 and 10am. Around half 8 got a call from the store to say there had been a glitch with IT and the 8 and 10 slot was overbooked. They could fit me in between 5 and 7. I was going out for the day so the order was cancelled. Long story short they took my money even though the order was cancelled and I am still waiting for a refund, 10 days on despite calling everyday and emailing. I was told yesterday that my account, my Iceland account was credited….. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never place another order and I advise you to avoid it too!

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at the Lewisham Iceland store (143–149 Lewisham High St, London SE13 6AA). Around 8:30 p.m., my iPhone was stolen directly from my shopping basket while I was shopping. When I asked staff to check the CCTV, they denied that I had a phone with me and suggested I must have lost it outside. The following morning, another staff member admitted that the footage showed me placing my phone in the basket but then claimed that “nothing could be seen” afterwards — despite the fact that cameras cover every corner of the store. ⚠️ Please be very careful with your belongings if you shop at this store. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise avoiding this branch. This behaviour from staff was unacceptable and a complete failure of responsibility. Instead of helping me as a customer who was robbed inside their premises, they dismissed my concerns and refused to take proper action. This experience was extremely frustrating and concerning. I also noticed that I was not the only one — several other shoppers have lost belongings here as well.

Terrible customer service. It has gone abroad. When I complained because I had not been refunded for the items they didn’t have in stock (not delivered), I had to keep phoning back because everyone I spoke to was not helpful. They all said something different and made out they could not access my account properly, (e.g. told me to phone back later, told me it was the correct amount, another said it was a mistake and it would show correct amount in 1 hour, etc). They never sorted it out.

I recently purchased fresh cooked meats on the buy 3 for £5 on Friday 15th Nov at approx 4.30pm only to open a pack of the chicken to find it had a sour smell and the best before date was the 16th I checked the other to pack that also had poor use by dates 18th of November. Very poor if your doing a weekly shop. Stick to Aldi, I contacted customer care regarding this please see below reply: Hi Neil, Thank you for contacting Iceland. I can see that the items you contacted us about are from our fresh food range. These naturally have a shorter shelf life than our frozen or store cupboard items, in some cases just 1 or 2 days. Because of this we wouldn’t class these as having too short a shelf life. I apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. David in the Iceland Customer Care Team

First time ordered online in Birmingham, charged but no delivery or notifications. Delivery was supposed to be 2 days ago. Phone number only available till 5pm, so very difficult if working. So much for awards, as the CEO represents core values of modern capitalism, treat ordinary people like rubbish and have good relationships with establishment figures to get awards.

I’m disgusted that after shopping in your Byker store since the 90s you’ve clearly sold off your land in the car park and I’m now threatened with a £100 fine . Signs are Not massively displayed until you actually look , you CEO going on this morning, how he’s keeping his pieces down then hitting single parents with a £100 parking fine . Shame on you all . Absolutely disgusting
