I’ve been using China Aroma for about 6 years and they are my regular go-to on a Saturday night after a busy week. I know the food will be good, arrive on time, and the delivery drivers are always friendly and polite.
Used China aroma before and was always good. Just moved, thought we would try again even though we were a bit further away. All in can say is wow. Delivered early (always a good thing) and food was amazing. Keep up the good work. Defo be back.
I waited over two hours for my food, only to receive an order that wasn’t mine — just rice and chips. I called more than 25 times before someone finally answered. After that, I had to wait another 35 minutes for the correct order to be delivered. This experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable.
Disgusting food – both undercooked and overcooked, completely inedible! The quality has been declining for some time, but our last order was absolutely terrible. I appreciate that any kitchen can have an off day, but customer service is where you have the chance to put things right. Unfortunately, China Aroma showed zero interest in correcting their mistakes, even after admitting: “We have an issue with the supplier, that’s why your rice is sticking together and is as hard as bullets” and “Yes, I have some of the chow mein here in front of me, it does look awful.” Despite this, no replacement food or refund was offered. Atrocious customer service, appalling food, and a loyal customer now lost. Please steer well clear or order at your own risk!
Genuinely good food! Tasted fresh, wasn't greasy or sticky, was recommended by a few people and understand why. Extensive menu, very reasonable, order online or through apps. The outside looks off putting at first glance but the food makes up for it.
We have honestly never had a bad meal from this place, always delivered way quicker than expected, really great food.
Gutted as it used to be lush but won’t be ordering again :/ Chips were cold and buttery and soggy. The actual dish was just rank- couldn’t finish it. The taste was horrible, there was whole veg stems throughout and the veg that was cut wasn’t cooked through. Chicken balls were okay but I won’t be ordering again just for chicken balls :/ V sad, £15 literally in the bin
Great Chinese takeaway would highly recommend my favourite in Tamworth my go to place before even moving to Tamworth. Great tasting food and reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and truly cares about their customers.
First time trying this Chinese takeaway. The sweet and sour chicken and crispy aromatic duck were nice but I didn't like the young chow fried rice; the meats were served in massive pieces ontop of the rice and the sauce from the various meats made the rice too soggy to eat. The roast pork was hardly roasted too and just didn't look or taste like proper "Chinese char siu". Given that the other two dishes were decent, I would give this takeaway another try going forwards but avoid ordering the young chow fried rice again.
The best Chinese I have ever eaten. The food is always fresh well cooked and delivered well before the alloted time. Dont use anywhere else
