   I had an experience day booked and part of the package was this restaurant for lunch. I had the chicken and a fruit salad for desert. Whilst the food was presented well, The chicken was pink, the vegetables were sour and the broccoli sticks were over salted. The desert however was lovely (fruit salad). I wish I’d could have had two deserts as the main was dreadful. I was the only diner inside for the first 10 minutes of service and was sat by the front door at the only table that needed both menus to keep it stable. A little disappointing as the day was going well. Based on this food experience, I would avoid the restaurant on another occasion.

   We had afternoon tea as part of our spa package. Food was nice,cake choices were not what you'd expect...everyone left the fruit cake. Scones were amazing!!

   Our afternoon tea here was included as part of our Spa day. The sandwiches and cake etc were pleasant but pretty average. The large pot of tea had only one tea bag, unlike breakfast in the Ryder Grill. Unfortunately the service wasn't great and the experience felt a little bit like a production line. I even had to haggle to get a reasonable alternative option to the Prosecco included. Not great!
