The food was okay, but the pasta wasn't homemade...it wasn't real grandma's Italian...the calamari was okay. It's a pity they don't serve real Italian lemonade, the ice cream wasn't homemade, the dessert was tasty...the service was very good and friendly...the place was okay...I recommend it.
Upon ordering, I requested a strawberry mojito, despite it not being featured on the menu, and the staff most obligingly prepared one — it was superb. I opted for the risotto, tailored as a vegetarian dish, which was delightful in both flavour and consistency. The garlic bread, whilst pleasant, was rather ordinary. Nevertheless, the overall experience was thoroughly enjoyable and most impressive. The staff were all very friendly and chatty!
We had a lovely lunch at Pizza by Gilo — the food was tasty and delicious, and the restaurant itself looked very elegant and stylish, with a great atmosphere. However, I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 for a few reasons: 1. Service – We were served by a cook, which I understand may be due to staff shortages. The lady was kind and tried her best, but communication was a bit difficult. She initially brought the wrong beer, but quickly corrected it without any fuss. 2. Beer presentation – My partner was quite annoyed that the beer wasn’t opened in front of him (this happened twice). According to standard hospitality regulations, bottled drinks should be opened at the table in front of the customer to ensure transparency and trust. 3. Glassware – The glass I received had visible water stains or residue, which gave an impression of poor polishing. A bit more attention to detail here would really elevate the experience. 4. Antipasto portion – We ordered the antipasto sharer, but it came with only 5–6 slices of salami for £10. In my opinion, that’s not quite enough for the price. That said, the pizza was absolutely delicious, with a generous amount of toppings and great flavor
We celebrated our 10-month wedding anniversary here, and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious — full of flavor, beautifully seasoned, and the presentation was outstanding. You can tell the kitchen puts heart into every dish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it perfect not only for romantic dinners, but also for family meals and special celebrations. Whether you're with your partner, friends, or the whole family — this place delivers. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming — we felt genuinely cared for from the moment we walked in. A night to remember, and a place we’ll definitely come back to.
1st time I visited with family. The food was gorgeous and so tasty. The staff was really nice and kept checking if everything was OK, if we needed anything else, informed us about the specials. Would definitely visit again

The highest quality 3 course Italian lunch I've had in years. Octopus linguini was a wonderful surprise! Genuine Italian in an unexpected location, very worth the trip!
