Excellent food. One of the best curries i have ever had. Members of the party have specific dietary requirements and the staff were great. No fuss, very well informed and accommodating

I ordered from Jahed through Just Eat and was really impressed. The food arrived hot and everything was full of flavour. The Gosht Bhuna was very nice and rich, although the large pieces of tomato slightly threw me off. The Chicken Biryani was very tasty and well spiced. The Keema Naan tasted authentic and was generously filled with keema, which was great. The Tandoori Mixed Grill was succulent and fresh, and they even included free poppadoms and sauces with onion, which was a really nice touch. The Onion Bhaji was nice too, though slightly on the oily side. Overall, this is the best takeaway I’ve had in a while and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Excellent evening celebrating my sons both with my family. Nothing was too much trouble from spicing things up to bringing out my son’s birthday cake. It was a wonderful atmosphere and everyone was delighted with the quality of the food. I had the lamb chops with fresh chapattis and rice and I wa not disappointed!! Beautiful flavours and tasted really fresh. The host was really welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be coming back and can highly recommend. I’ve tried most of the Indian restaurants in Sutton Coldfield and I’m fussy about the quality of food. Jaheds comes out at the top of my list!!

Apparently I’m not allowed to order again as I’m annoyed that my food was left on the doorstep WITHOUT knocking the door as I live on a narrow road (they’ve delivered here before) the food this time is passable I mean I have to reheat it but that is also my fault apparently. I have ordered for years and delivery times quoted are always quicker than the food arrives so I suggest people go to balti hut or noor (food as good, service a thousand times better just longer wait times) To add I did swear once - during the last call after being called by the takeaway FOUR times in the space of 3 minutes to be shouted at by your “staff” (yes I kept putting the phone down as I too do not tolerate abuse) who also lied when they said there was a car behind them, doorbell footage confirms there wasn’t. That’s without the delivery times being out (35 mins advertised prior to placing order, jumped to 50 mins once you’d taken my money - not the first time this has happened either and I got my order at 1 hr and 10 mins) but I am sure in your head you think me being annoyed not only for food being left on a doorstep it being late is also my fault. You don’t need to worry about me ordering again your food and service has gone down hill over the years (missing items more than once, food being delivered lukewarm and as already stated delivery times being out by minimum of 30 mins regularly) the only reason an order was placed last night was the delivery time quoted which was incorrect any way. As you say all the best (other takeaways needn’t worry about my behaviour I just matched energy)

Amazing food. Can them up and ask them for recommendations and they provide. Had a great super hot (at my request) Lamb Tawa and it was the best curry I’ve had for a long time.

Staff make you feel like one of the family. Always seem to remember things specific to your previous visits. Great experience and great food supplied by the guys there.

I have been eating in and getting takeaways from Jahed for 23 years (with intervals when I have lived outside the area) and I can say confidently it is my favourite Curry House in Sutton Coldfield...and there a lot of Indian Restaurants in and around Sutton Coldfield that I have tried! The food is delicious and tastes most authentic, the staff...the staff are so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They also do vegan currys (no dairy). I only learnt this recently which makes the experience even more enjoyable. You must try, takeaway or eat in!

Was introduced to Jahed by my cousin who has lived in the area for decades. While I like some dishes more than others, the food is consistently delicious so we have been returning to eat in and takeaway regularly. I recently took a close friend who is very choosy about his curries and he loved it. Our last meal included a lamb rogan josh and I don’t usually have lamb because it can be fatty, but this was possibly the loveliest lamb I have eaten in a curry. I am suspicious of the negative reviews on here because they don’t correspond with my experiences at all.
