   Went for lunch and been a few years since I've been and was a little disappointed with the savoury pancakes quite dry and not that enjoyable to eat. Black pudding very dry and crumbly. Felt not enough staff on for the busy lunch hour so quite slow service too.

   I have been visiting since it opened 34 years ago. First with my children, now with my grandchildren. It's a well-loved family tradition, especially around birthdays and Christmas. Food is amazing and setting is relaxing.

   We have an annual meal here and it couldn’t be a more ideal setting. The food is beautiful and the staff are always accommodating of our ‘loud’ family and theatrics. The French onion soup was the best, but this has been overtaken by the pate this year (2025). Go at Christmas

   I've been here a few times now, very nice and pleasant location. Calming atmosphere with pleasant staff. The food was good as well as the service. There is plenty of parking, which is just a very short distance to all the amenities.

   Always love this place.. Having a dairy allergy my choices are limited but I still love it and always enjoy the food... The salad bowl is simply awesome... And not to forget the staff simply friendly and utterly charming..

   Called in for a cup of tea whilst on the road... Ended up with a rhubarb crumble crêpe which was incredible! Staff were very friendly and accommodating, it was early and no one else about but still, we had similar friendly service at Christmas when we last visited and they were very busy then! (Mine was a take out hence the box in the photo) And most importantly they listen to how you'd like your tea and make it accordingly - so many places make awful tea, it is always welcomed to find somewhere who make it properly!
