Both main meals and rice were delivered cold - tasted ok after being microwaved - but I think they have ramped their prices up too much.
First time trying here really nice curry and chowmein need to try other things off the menu but happy to return to do this. Cash only in the establishment
I have ordered from this Chinese previously and never had any issues. I went to the Chinese last night and the food I received was horrendous to say the least. The food looked and smelled uneatable. I had special curry which came with uncooked meat that looked as if it had been there for ages. I ordered chicken balls which were definitely re-fried and the meat inside was slimy. The chips were re-fired and hard. Also the rice they came was clumpy, hard and had been there sat for a while too. I will no longer be going to this Chinese and wouldn't suggest anyone else does either.
Love this place very clean food is fast and staff are very pleasant it is the only place we ever go to and that is a lot Lots of.parking.close to curry house Food is cheap too.

Tryed three times and bad each time. Curry sauce always spicy even when not requested or mentioned in the menu " kids don't like spicy food" chicken balls burned asked for salt and pepper chicken was given extremely thin peices of fried chicken that was dry and hard must of been sitting there for hours. Beef and pork curry's bland strips of meat with literally no taste. It's not exactly cheap either we are talking full price food with no good meal deal set menus very bad quality for price.
The first time I've used the golden bird, only because I drove past last week and the place was packed with people collecting their takeaways, in my personal opinion it's the tastiest around. I ordered special fried rice and was presented with two pot's, one full of chicken, pork beef and prawns in a tasty sauce. I've had many meals from Chinese takeaways in my time but I honestly believe I've never tasted so many different flavours, will definitely be ordering again very very soon.
I've been ordering from Golden Bird for more than 15 years and I can honestly say I'm satisfied with their service. The portions are more than enough, the food is flavoursome and fresh, and the staff are ok too. Sometimes all you need is a meal prepared by someone else when you've had a 13 hour shift at work! I usually order the same thing most times, but I have tried other dishes and have always been happy with the quality of my food. Thanks Golden Bird for your continued service!
