I tried Box Trees Indian for the first time this evening ordering a takeaway. Arriving to collect it was hard to find however as it’s along a very dark track - I want sure Apple Maps was correct - BUT IT WAS !! The restaurant is cozy with a bar and tables overlooking a beautiful terrace. I was welcomed by Abdul who told me the history of the restaurant being open around 6 years. Having received the food and left I arrived home to hopefully enjoy with my wife the chicken and spinach balti x2, rice, naan. The curry was really fresh, the chicken lovely and flavour absolutely delicious. I’m a huge fan of Indian food and loyal once I find a nice restaurant. Having recently moved nearby I needed to find one that hits the mark. This place has this evening - I will now be a regular. Look forward to the summer and enjoying curry outside on the terrace with a nice cold Cobra.

After trying many of the other local Currys houses I found Box Trees Indian. Box Trees Indian is a real gem! From the moment you arrive, Syed and his team make you feel so welcome – they are friendly, attentive, and always happy to go the extra mile. The service is outstanding and really adds to the whole experience. The food is just as impressive. Every dish is bursting with flavour, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and freshness in each bite. Whether it’s a classic curry or something a little different, everything is consistently delicious. They are always willing to advise and tailor a dish to your taste also. With amazing staff and incredible food, Box Trees Indian easily deserves five stars. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an authentic, friendly dining experience. Cameron

A solid 3.5, but there is no ambience and found it to be really pricey. We came in early on a Friday and the place was empty. The heaters were all off and the restaurant was quite cold Inside, we even had to wear our jackets for a while. There is little to no ambience, though the tablets are nicely set, there are makeshift walls or curtains blocking certain areas of the restaurant. The menu is extensive and had a lot of options, veggie and non veggie but it was REALLY pricey for what it was. We got two starters and they were both very small for £5 each, the main courses didn't come with Naan or rice, and each rice portion is super tiny for almost £3.5 . My Indian relatives would be in revolt if they ever saw the little amount of rice for that much. The food was nicely seasoned, though I missed some fresh coriander or lime. The service was extremely friendly and the highlight of the visit but with these prices I would not recommend it. There are many other options out there with a MUCH better value.

Good quality food, service was excellent, just the right enough time elapsed between starter and main course. We arrived early evening so the atmosphere was quiet laid back. Will go again

Collected several take aways from Ginger Blues and everytime the food has been delicious. Courteous staff who helped me with my menu choice (low spice threshold!) and made me feel comfortable whilst I waited. I will definitely return.
