   First time eating in as weve always had a take out, it never disappointed the service and food was lovely, we went for the 4 course starters are served first and the main was served in a sharing tree it was really nice highly reccomend.

   The meal was truly exceptional, a delightful experience from start to finish. The flavors were expertly balanced, and the presentation was quite appealing. The service provided was also outstanding, attentive without being intrusive. It's clear that a great deal of care goes into creating such a positive dining atmosphere.    We were a table of 8. From arriving at 7.30, to not eating our mains till 10pm. The service was not like it used to be. Staff were very rude and unwelcoming. Food was nice but the service and wait time was not on. We will not be going back!

   Food was decent, service was pretty poor. Waiters were very rude, with food and drinks slammed on the table, with food taking well an over an hour to arrive. Very much seemed like an inconvenience. Would not go again.

   Visited the raj on 14th January food was ok following a 90 minute wait. Front of house is rubbish fronted by scruffy middle aged men who are rude and non customer focused. The restaurant has gone down the pan since l visited it some 25yrs ago.

   Starters were dry and over cooked, set menu dishes were hit and miss. Lamb nice, chicken sweet, daal no taste but Bombay aloo tasty.

   Overpriced and over hyped for what was delivered. I paid £18.50 for the Duck Nawabi expecting better considering the price. Sadly I was wrong. It also stated on the menu the duck was served with a side of Sylheti rice but that wasn't the case for us. It was mediocre at best and rather oily. Maybe this place was better in the past as the awards. To add to this dinning experience, my partner and I ate the takeaway food about 30-40 minutes ago and feel rather nauseous and unwell. And only a small amount was consumed (thankfully) I'm not sure if its because of how much oil was used or if there was a problem with the meat or fish we are unsure. But certainly won't be trying here again!
