Great food and welcoming atmosphere @Namaste Sutton I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with generous portions that were well worth the price. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. Everything arrived on time and exceeded expectations. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back again!

Amazing food and amazing service! Visited this restaurant for the first time and was really impressed. The place was spotless, the menu prices were reasonable, and the service was super attentive. As a Nepali myself, I can honestly say the food was incredibly authentic—it genuinely felt like a taste of home. The service staff were also fantastic (sorry I forgot your names!). The woman from Jhapa and the man working with her were both so friendly and welcoming. They made the whole experience feel homely, and the conversation was natural, not forced at all. I’ll definitely be coming back every time I’m in Birmingham. Truly one of the best restaurants in Brum! Highly recommend!

Delicious food, quick service and welcoming vibe. Lovely butter chicken and nice thin naan breads. Starters were amazing, full of flavours.

Having seen the positive reviews, I decided to give Namaste a try. The chicken biryani was quite nice — the chicken was a little on the dry side, but overall still enjoyable. Unfortunately, the Namaste Sizzling Platter (mixed grill) was a letdown. Apart from the sheesh kebabs and the red chicken tikka, the rest of the items were noticeably dry and lacked freshness. I even found myself calling the restaurant to check if the meat had been cooked the same day, which says a lot. Overall, it was an okay experience, but not something I’d be in a hurry to repeat.

The food and the service was exceptionally good. The Paneer Kerahi was really, really nice. The mushroom rice and the pilau rice were expertly and distinctively cooked. Wonderful. However, the dining experience was eventually ruined by what appeared to the owners family children running all around our table, knocking into us. They were allowed to spend 10-15+ minutes hitting random keys on the on-site piano which drowned conversation and our thoughts. We left the restaurant. I appreciate that everyone needs to let their hair down with their family, but allowing children to run around and customers leave early is not great, especially when the food and service was so good until then. In a time of a cost of living crisis, where all customers are being more choosy where they spend their money, I hope this is a one-off.

We pre-booked for Namaste at the weekend for a birthday for our party of 9. Table service was prompt, the waiter took our drinks & they arrived swiftly after & then taking our food orders. Amongst us, we ordered a variety of curry dishes from Prawn to lamb, chicken, daals and lamb chops too. The food arrived within 30 minutes after ordering and tasted as good as it looked. We were pleasantly surprised with all the meals & there was enough meat in each curry and not 3 lumps swimming in sauce. We left feeling very plump after dinner. Overall it was fantastic, we had a great time, atmosphere was perfect with gentle music in the background. The food was good quality & portion size. We would definitely come back again. The restaurant was really nice with Pearl wallpaper, black brick and dangling lights. Namaste is located on a mini retail park with free parking, a 10mins walk from the local Chester Road Station.

We have dined in, taken away and collected. The staff are very hospitable. Excellent menu and always cater to us making dishes that aren’t even on the menu (soya butter chicken). We’ve become regulars. Highly recommend!
