First visit. It was a Thursday 3pm, so fairly quiet. Very nice & comfortable inside. We could choose where we sat. Bogdan, who greeted us & was serving behind the bar, was very friendly & welcoming. Abby was our waitress, who was friendly & efficient. I am a vegetarian & I had the lentil cottage pie, which was very tasty. My husband had the beef lasagna, with fries & salad. He ate the lot!! A very good sign. He followed on with vanilla ice cream/raspberry sorbet. I had a delicious blackberry/apple crumble with cream. All very tasty & with drinks, came to £67. Oh, there is also a two or three course set menu, to choose from. Definitely worth a visit & we shall be returning.

Delicious Sunday roast at a very reasonable price. All meats were lovely and veg cooked perfectly. Best cauliflower cheese for miles. Excellent service from our lovely waitress, Abby. Very nice surroundings and ample free parking. Very busy so don’t risk a walk-in or you may be disappointed! Private function room available. We’ll be back! Thank you.

Beautiful festive decorations creating a perfect atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff, especially Klaudia. Food was absolutely delicious, piping hot and good portion sizes. The puddings were especially delicious. Definitely returning again soon.

We had sea bass filets and the signature burger, both were amazing. Perfectly flavoured and good portion size. Squash and cauliflower soup of the day was just the thing we needed on a cold Sunday afternoon. Would definitely come back.

A fantastic dinner enjoyed at this charming and nostalgic place. From online reservation to being greeted at entry by a distinguished gentleman, with a sense of humour, to enjoying excellent service by professional staff throughout the night. Food was delicious, well prepared and presented. A wide variety to choose from to please every taste. Our waitress for the evening, Grace, deserves a special mention. A true professional offered us a faultless service. A credit to the restaurant. Would recommend this place to everyone.

Came in for dinner with my partner and kids late yesterday evening after a very busy day 1/09. Staff where friendly and helpful. The pub itself is lovely! We had the hunters chicken which we both thought was absolutely delicious, loved the breadcrumbs and streaky bacon. Our kids are fussy when we eat out but again their meals went down well. All the food was lovely and hot. Overall great meal, great pub will definitely be returning.

This used to be a local of mine in my young days so was nice to pop back here. Outside the same but inside has changed, for the better. Lovely seating areas indoor and out. Our waiter was very accommodating. Always checking we had everything we needed. Food didn’t come out rushed so was nice to sit back and have a drink whilst chatting. Food was delicious and worth every penny. I will be visiting again that’s for sure!!
