   Booked a table for 13 people and was Greeted warmly and taken to our seat to await the arrival of the rest of our party. Whilst waiting for the rest of our party to arrive, we were given the menu to peruse. Our waiter was very hospitable. The service and food were excellent. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Can not fault anything. Highly recommend this establishment.

   Visited today. The Supervisor served us. Charming, attentive and knowledgeable enough to describe each of the dishes in order for us to make an informed choice. Ordered the Achar Ghost and Chicken Achari. Both dishes were really tasty, full of flavour. The meat was tender, even though both were Achari dishes there was a distinct difference between the dishes. Ordered the plain naan with butter, again, it was cooked just right, really fluffy and soft, wonderful texture and taste. The fragrance of the naan was exquisite.

   I enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. Although they don’t have an online booking system, I was able to make a reservation over the phone. I highly recommend booking ahead if you prefer to sit outside, as that area is a highlight of the restaurant. But if you’re not picky you could just walk in. The courtyard seating is beautiful and well heated, perfect for colder weather. The food was tasty with good portion sizes, though the Pina Coladas weren’t our favourite. The staff were helpful in guiding us through the menu. Would recommend!

   Gorgeous atmosphere both indoors and throughout the courtyard with great food and top tier service. Menu offers a variety of food including Vegetarian and Gluten Free options; perfect for family members who are coeliac and vegetarian. Effective ordering method on a tablet, and staff who never miss! Muhammad Hashim’s attention to detail was great. He was extremely helpful throughout our meal ensuring we were happy with our food and drinks. Furthermore, he went above and beyond in taking pictures for our family and informing us of other areas to take more. Alam’s a firm favourite delivering consistency across all aspects of serving delicious meals suitable for all. They also offer parking behind the restaurant for which the charge can be redeemed at payment.

   Definitely the best French toast I’ve ever had! The full breakfast was also great with top quality ingredients! When a place uses the best condiments you know that they do not skimp on quality! The prices for the quality of the food are very reasonable. The place is very large loads of seating and very clean inside. Only small things need improving please make staff members aware to let customers know who park in the car park to put in details on your tablet. Second we did order the boiled eggs to be runny but where proper hard boiled! Lastly the hash brown would be better if it was more of a homemade type! Will definitely be returning best breakfast place in Birmingham. 5 stars

   Alam restaurant Coventry Road Birmingham, love the interior and the courtyard was the best for selfies and lots photos staff were friendly and even help take out group photos. Food wise ordered the Tandoori lamb chops really succulent and juicy and perfectly cooked. Then had the sirloin steak with chips, veg and salad this was gigantic it was cooked perfectly and tender the chips was also enjoyable with the steak the veg however got too big for the portion size and the salad was mainly rocket. For drinks had the mojito as always taste good. Overall the meats were cooked to perfection was a good experience.

   The food is so much better than expected. Some of the reviews put us off initially but we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered steaks and grilled chicken. The service was fast and very accommodating. Was served by Waqas, so thank you to him for making our experience worth it. Will definitely go again and recommend to anyone wanting to try a new place in Birmingham.
