Went last night for our works meal. It was pre booked. We waited an hour for our food and over half hour for our drinks to arrive. I have no problem waiting as appreciate it was busy. I had the vegetable chow mein and I have to say it was really nice. However my other colleagues had a different experience! were served the wrong food and complained that it was bland and more like take out standard. This reflects my reason for giving 3 stars. The part that ruined the evening was when the bill arrived. They tried to charge us over £80 more than we owed. When we questioned this we were told they had added a service charge to the meal and drinks. This was not stated as we as a group were giving our own tip as paying cash. Eventually they removed the service fee but it was still £40 over. We asked for an itemised bill and it was clear to see that what they were asking was £49 over. Lucky for us we had written everything down and showed them. The manager , carol became very rude when she realised she had been caught out ! when we said we would pay only what we owed and also a tip from each of us. Not that it was deserved after our experience. It really ruined the evening. Sounds like they are ripping people off. I wonder how many customers they do this to and hope it won’t be questioned With being a larger group? And drinks flowing. Terrible. Will never return to this place again. Such a shame. It used to be lovely years ago but has changed hands now. If you do decide to go keep an eye on the bill. Write everything down.

Went for my brothers 60th birthday. There were 13 of us and the service was impeccable. The food was superb.

Duck in Plum sauce, has tiny sauce pot on the side. The £6.70 spring rolls are so small they fit in the palm of your hand. The Singapore Vermicelli noodles didn't have as much flavour as the ones I have ordered elsewhere. The special fried rice was more like boiled rice with stuff mixed in. I have eaten inside Peninsular and it was amazing so I can't believe how terrible this delivery experience was. I pray that there restaurant food hasn't sunk this far and wouldn't recommend getting it delivered after my experience. No prawn crackers included either for almost £50 which is very unusual. So disappointed!

Absolute joke of a place, making up their own rules as they go along. You ask one member of staff one thing and the next says something different. Do not recommend this place at all. 0 STAR!

saw great reviews but not our experience. It is like eating in takeaway shop food. food is not as fresh as you want comparing to food in Birmingham Chinatown. food presentation is poor for a restaurant. hot pot is not presented in hot pot but a white bowl. background music is so loud like in hospital environment. only nice food is their tofu. the rest are so so. entrance to the car park is not easy to see at night.

I have visited this restaurant occasionally over the years. It is a standard Chinese restaurant with nice food and good service provided by all staff. Staff can accommodate to your different tastes and preferences and are very welcoming to all guests. While not as flash as some other restaurants in appearance, you get value for money and service with a smile. I would recommend to others.
