I was part of a party of 20 yesterday. This place cannot cope with the pressure! You’ve put in one of the replies how cooking for 20 is impossible in the kitchen industry, so why accept a booking of 20 knowing full well you couldn’t cope as you’ve said! Also you’ve turned around we all come at different times and late, but another part of your reply is saying that we was all together. Now who’s lying? Youve also mention that none of us was ready until 7:30 to order, but no one took our order till then. We shouldn’t be expected to come to the bar which we should have to do as you offer table service! Your staff were really rude and you clearly need to take lessons in customer services!
So glad you are back!!!! We absolutely love your food it’s always hot and so tasty. We didn’t order anything from the previous owners the reviews really put us off but now you are all back we are definitely going to be regular customers again
Wow, went in tonight to find Mohammad is back running the restaurant again. Food was amazing . We had a chicken Bhuna madras and a Butter chicken. So happy Mo is running the place again. Light of bengal is once again our favourite curry house .
Not impressed had to go back as they had given me the wrong meal, they actually asked me to bring the chicken tikka starter back that I’d opened In my home. Hopefully they won’t reuse in Someone else’s meal. Response How is food cooked fresh 20 minutes ago unsafe to eat ? You did ask for it back and we were happy to pay the difference for the new meal and collect as wanted the correct food ASAP.
Food tastes ok but portion are a complete joke ! 4 tiny pieces of chicken in a chicken curry , when we compain well sir we cook enough to eat only ! My mate ordered a pint of carling £2.75 and was served a can of carling 440mm agen complain and was given another can ! Place is a joke and very expensive for what you are served
love the food here and the staff are always polite and ready to please..been eating here for 20 years or more...highly recommended
5 stars for service, clean and presentable restaurant, and food in general. And not overly expensive like some. Taken off one star as my Curry was not as tasty as it used to be from this place. Possible it's a one off, but more likely a change of chef.
