I had a wonderful dining experience here! The lady who was serving me was friendly and welcoming and the food tasted fresh and authentic. I was also glad to find that the food items were very reasonably priced and halal too! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing Tamil food and great service!

Absolutely the Best Sri Lankan and Indian Food We've Had in the UK! We had an incredible experience here – hands down, the best Sri Lankan and Indian food we've had since moving to the UK. We ordered Indiappan Kottu, Mutton Masala Dosai, Chai Tea, and Mutton Rolls, and every single item was bursting with authentic flavour. It felt like we were back in Sri Lanka – the taste was just like home! The Indiappan Kottu was full of flavour, the Mutton Dosai perfectly spiced, and the mutton rolls were fresh, crispy, and packed with filling. The chai? On another level – rich, aromatic, and made just right. Everything was served fresh and beautifully presented. The staff made the experience even more special. It’s a family-run place, and you can feel that warm Sri Lankan hospitality from the moment you walk in. The mother and son duo truly bring that welcoming island vibe – super friendly and genuine. We’ll definitely be stopping here every time we're in Birmingham. Highly recommend this spot to anyone craving authentic Sri Lankan or Indian flavours. A hidden gem!

Easily the best milk hoppers we have ever eaten. Light and crispy on the edges, soft and fluffy in the middle, mildly tangy the way they should be. The jaggery addition to the coconut milk sauce was particularly delightful. The rest of the food was delicious, but the hoppers were outstanding - we ordered one to start with and the moment we tasted it we ordered four more because none of us wanted to share.

It’s a fantastic Sri Lankan restaurant that truly delivers an authentic dining experience. The flavors are rich and traditional, making it a great choice for those craving genuine Sri Lankan cuisine. I tried the chicken fried rice, fish cutlet, chili chicken, egg noodles, and kothu parotta—all of which were delicious and well-prepared. Each dish had a distinct taste, with the right balance of spices and seasoning. The fish cutlet was crispy and flavorful, while the kothu parotta had the perfect texture and depth of flavor. What stood out even more was the excellent service. The staff were attentive and ensured that each dish was served one at a time, allowing us to savor every bite while enjoying a wonderful gathering with friends and family. This thoughtful approach made the dining experience even more special. Overall, Boopathi’s offers amazing food, outstanding service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Sri Lankan flavors in Birmingham!

One of the worst Indian restaurants I’ve tried. Nothing was authentic tasting, if you want a good Indian takeaway you're better off heading down to Ladypool road. Steer clear of this place

I was recommended by a friend who had ordered from here previously and had told me that it was brilliant, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a Chicken Tika Masala, Pilau Rice, Nanbread and a drink and everything was absolutely mouth watering. This will now be my new Indian takeaway and I am incredibly glad my friend had recommended it to me.
