Just had a very disappointing take away from lung wah. Very bland and tasteless chow mein. Also bland beef in black bean sauce. Curry sauce not very good either. Shame because used to be good years ago. New management aswell. Very poor.
The food arrived quickly fresh and piping hot we really enjoyed it all! The free spring rolls were a lovely addition, would order again! We had a few issues with cold food and arrival times in the past but I’m so glad we tried them again! Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back thanks ! The crispy shredded chicken is a must try !
Ordered regular pancake rolls and vegetable and garlic rice (im a vegan), instead i got pancake rolls with 3 different types of meat and my vegetable rice had egg in it. I feel like they had egg rice left over so they added some veg and pretended it veg rice, same with pancake rolls, they probably had the meat ones left over so they gave it to me even tho i ordered plain ones. Not going to order from then again.
Very good to my liking on certain dishe on the menu..but then I do cook Cantonese..as was brought up in SE Asia..with great Chiness cooks/Chefs..
A well priced takeaway meal, the beef dishes were tender and the service was quick and friendly, I have visited a lot over the years and the quality has always remained.
We're regular customers and chose our usual order. This take away has been under new management for less than 2 weeks and last time we order! Ordered sausage, chips & gravy, turns up and theres 1 sausage/chips in a bag with a pot of gravy. The chicken curry we ordered was red in the middle when I cut into it. The staff do not understand you when you call up to complain so we had no other route than to leave this review. STEER CLEAR OF THIS LOT
Have used this take away for many many years. Since it has been taken over the food has gone downhill big time. They bulk out every dish with a huge amount of big chunky pieces of onion - presumably to cut down on costs. Not nice. Despite requesting less onion from my last weeks order the photo attached shows just half of the onion I got in what was supposed to be beef in green pepper and black bean sauce! where were the green peppers? Onions were never a feature in this dish prior to the new management! Beware!
Enjoyed a decent vegetable curry with excellent pancake rolls. Chips were overcooked and greasy, though.
