   Very intimate venue with a classic decor. Generous portion sizes and great flavours, absolutely wholesome food. Starters - goat cheese parcel and king scallops were fantastic. The thermidor sauce on the scallops was a highlight. Mains - steak dolceletta and lamb ragu raviolini. Both fantastic and loved the homemade pasta. Steak had some very complimentary blue cheese. Desserts - were both not really dessert people due to poor quality in restaurants but these were lovely, I had the pavlova and it was massive but still light. If we had to critique, the service felt a little rushed and the ambience was affected by the music that was dicey/dated Would go again 4 alcoholic drinks 2 starters 2 mains 2 desserts 1 side £115

   We had a fantastic evening, it’s our third wedding anniversary and the staff were so kind and amazing. They were welcoming as soon as we stepped through the door. The food was incredible, so tasty and so well presented. I can not recommend them highly enough. The staff were really friendly and we were late because of family and no one minded they were happy to see us. Will attend again.

   I was a little apprehensive going here due to the negative reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of service was amazing, our waiter was lovely, all staff were friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, we had the garlic bruschetta for starters, the risotto for mains and tiramisu for dessert. I would definitely recommend and I want to go again too. The atmosphere was great, lots of people, by 6.30 the place was packed (considering they open at 6).

   I don't think all the forks and knives on the table are clean after "seeing" how the waitress handled our unused forks and knives. She's smart and did it with her back facing our table. I don't think the manager didn't know about it. The manager and waitress were friendly. But the food didn't taste fresh. Not tasty I would say. I wonder why there are so many good reviews... Additionally, there’s plenty of local paid parking available, which makes it convenient for those driving to the restaurant. Overall, Buonissimo is a gem that we highly recommend.    Google says I am among Top 10% who reviews Italian restaurants (I do go to Italy often and also Italian restaurants elsewhere) so I might have a say here. After going to another Italian restaurant in Harborne I had to adjust my expectation (because their food is not even above average). But this one surprised me, in a good way! Service is very friendly and interior is cozy. The food, while being adapted to the British style, is amazing! Would be happy to come back.

   they have this amazing 2 courses for 14.95 at lunchtimes! (even on Saturdays) though we did not have much time, just ordered main course only. the fish was cooked tenderly the potatoes were also good, crispy on the outside. and it comes with bread and butter too!

   We had a great evening. The taste reminded me a meal we had back in Napoli, obviously it's not the same but the feeling was very similar. The service was friendly and atmosphere was great. Highly recommended and I'll go back again.
