Went for what was supposed to be a very special “afternoon tea” in early December. First of all bad start as nowhere to park on site, had to park streets away. Booked for 12:30, arrived promptly. No food served until about 2pm, no reason given, kids by this time were really bored and agitated. What was served was terrible, it wasn’t afternoon tea as advertised it was some sort of disappointing Christmas themed replacement, no mention of this when booking or prior to arriving. A few small finger sandwiches of weird composition that the children didn’t like, mine were also stale!! Some very small cake/brownies, tiny mince pies which nobody likes, and some really poor overly crumbly dry scones with not enough cream or jam to go around. Not sure why it was £25 per person when there was literally £5 worth of food. Also we paid £12.50 for 3 children’s teas but wasn’t any different to the adults version in fact we had to share with them. Two adults and three children had to share 3 “teas”! Terrible value, terrible food, and terribly slow service for no reason. Restaurant was hardly busy. There was also a mixup with the billing despite it all being arranged weeks in advance. Staff were polite and no faults there. However cannot recommend this place sorry, as we had a disappointing visit and certainly will not be returning.

What an amazing experience at Three Church Road in Birmingham, and a huge thank you to Sónia for making our visit truly special. She welcomed us with a big smile, checked on us throughout the evening, and always made sure we had everything we needed. Sónia’s attention to detail and genuine care for her guests really stood out and made us feel completely at home. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, very cosy, and has a warm, homely atmosphere. The English-style food was well cooked and nicely presented, with clear care in both flavour and plating. The only downside was that the food took a while to arrive. There was an event happening at the same time and it seemed to be the first day of the new Winter menu, which might explain the slow kitchen. Even with the delay, Sónia’s fantastic service and kindness turned the evening into a great experience. Strongly recommend a visit, and a big thank you again to Sónia for going above and beyond.

We had the Sunday fixed roast lunch menu. The ham hock and trout starters we were lovely. The salmon main was nice.My pork loin dish was okay. The pork slices were tender but my potatoes are hard and rubbery. The gravy could have had more depth of flavour. The bread and butter pudding was the absolute highlight! Service was painfully slow and we waited ages to get our food and to get the server's attention which was disappointing.

Review for Three Church Road Restaurant I had an incredible dining experience at Three Church Road Restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing—each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. The quality of the ingredients and attention to detail truly stood out, making every bite a delight. The service was exceptional, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. A special mention to Vinny, who was brilliant—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making our meal even more enjoyable. His recommendations were spot on, and his professionalism added to the overall experience. The only minor downside is that parking at the location can be a bit tricky. However, there’s plenty of parking nearby, so it’s not a major issue. Overall, Three Church Road is a fantastic place for a meal, whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a great night out. Highly recommended!

It's been a long time since I did my last review, but I had to break the pattern because the experience in this restaurant was quite amazing - specially because of the outstanding service provided by Sónia(?). She was very thoughtful and caring the whole time, and it instantly made us feel at home. The food is also quite nice and the restaurant is located in a very charming neighbourhood; couldn't recommend more. If there's anything bad to say, I would say that the person at the reception could be more welcoming, but I guess the rest of the crew compensated her lack of sympathy.

One of the best high tea experiences I have ever had in a long time. Amazing food and great staff. All the staff is so friendly, especially vinni. A must place for all the tea lover, great ambience , can do a bit better with food option but what all was there was just simply tasty.

Unpretentious, yet neat, beautiful and clean, with friendly staff and great food. We booked a table for lunch, in a visit to our daughter who'd just moved out for her first year at uni, living nearby. The place is not very obvious, nor easy to find, needs a little exploring and asking, as no sign posts, sort of hidden-ish. It is right inside Audley Care Edgbaston, through the door to the right into the corridor then left. Very special though, very lit, rosy tea house, only a few tables, cosy. I'd recommend, we'll probably be back, thank you!

Took the family for afternoon tea. It's not normally my thing but I couldn't fault this. Delicious cakes and sandwiches, great service, and lovely settings to relax and enjoy it all in. Definitely recommend this if you're looking to treat someone special. Definitely the best afternoon tea we've had, and that includes a famous one we had in London at 5 times the price.

Attended for a baby shower, rented a private room which was nicely decorated. Large table and room to accommodate 14 people. Staff checked on us regular. Set menu for £30 - carrot soup - didn't enjoy, salmon main was good, and crème brulé was ok. I wouldn't go back for the food, but the private room was a great deal.

Parking at front of building in spots marked for 3. You can enter via the reception entrance, use intercom and mention you would like to visit the restaurant. Mid afternoon breakfast was fresh and tasty took about 30mins to be prepared and service was spot on. Price for two was £39.90 I would recommend and would visit again
