Myself and my mom had a wonderful time at Henry Wong. The service was fantastic from start to finish — the staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented; you can really taste the quality in every dish. I’m especially grateful for how kind and considerate the team were with my mum, who has walking difficulties. They went out of their way to help her and make sure when we left she got into the taxi safely, which meant a lot to me. Overall, a truly outstanding dining experience. Highly recommended!

This is certainly the top Chinese restaurant in Birmingham. The food was amazing especially Yung Sung and the Laziji lamb. The food shown itself that the chef was very delicate in preparation and cooking. The lamb was well marinated and very tender. Other dishes were also outstanding compared to other Chinese restaurant. The staff were amazing. They were friendly and, at the same time, very professional. Michael, the manager, was polite and professional in what he's doing. The atmosphere was great and classy. The music was cozy and classy. Overall, we can say that this restaurant is very impressive and we will surely visit again.

Wouldn't go back. Food was so bland and colourless. Don't order the steamed seabass in ginger and spring onion if you like flavour, it was watery, bland and colourless though the fish was very soft there was very little flavour. I tried to eat my meal but couldn't get through it and ld barely eaten the rice. The waiter kindly offered to rectify the situation but when the manager came over she overrode him and was quite rude and forceful with saying it's bland because its steamed and I'm too late to mention anything as l should have said earlier on when she initially checked the table and l had just started my meal. She did offer £5 off the bill or a drink. I refused the drink but took the £5 off my £35 bill for egg fried rice and bland fish and went over to tasty Sabai Sabai instead to finish off my meal as l was hungry.

We had a meal booked last Saturday at the restaurant. Spent money on Baby sitter and taxi down to restaurant. Had been looking forward to this meal as we don't get out very often. Arrived half an hr early as we fancied a drink beforehand. Entered the restaurant to be told quite rudely 'u won't get a drink and u won't get a meal either' when we asked why we were told it was due to a power cut that they were aware of approx an hour beforehand!! No apology. No telephone call or text was received by restaurant to inform us of the situation!! Wasting our time and money when this could have been avoided easily with the simple courtesy of letting us know! Subsequently I have contacted the restaurant twice to make a complaint and ask for someone to contact me about this - again nobody has bothered to get in touch all week!! I completely understand a power cut is not their fault but to not bother to let us know or respond to my complaint is appalling Total disregard for their customers and appalling customer service.

Terrible service and food wasn’t anything special. Came here for my birthday for a special celebration. Waiters not attentive at all barely smiled. Whilst eating our prawn crackers we were given the waiter came out and took my partners plate away while he was eating. He tried to stop him explaining he was still eating and waiter just snarled and said that our mains were ready and continued to take it away with no apology. Food was completely mediocre and after hearing such good things from this place i was very disappointed. We tried to explain to the head waiter about what had happened and he didn’t seem interested at all. We should of left and are very annoyed at ourselves that we didn’t. Maybe we didn’t look like we would be spending a lot but I’ve had far better service at almost every restaurant we’ve ever been to.

Very busy and cosy little restaurant and you can immediately see why. Staff are very on the ball and the food displays their years of being in business. Food was heavenly and very well presented. Would definitely go back.
