Just had the most amazing meal we are visiting local area and the staff was friendly and attentive. The meal was amazing even nicer than home. If we come to area again will definitely be back
After taking the family out tonight to the Balti Bazzar at 9-30 pm Turned up only to be told they are only doing take away service on a Thursday night with people still eating at tables,i was forced to go elsewhere, which we did to the curry house across the road. I was so glad, the curry's we had was amazing! 25 years my family and i have been eating at the Bazzar but no more! You done me a favour tonight, loyalty means nothing to them, time to move on!
I was staying in the pub next door & having a pint outside when the aroma from this place enticed me. I'm an occasional curry fan & they'd caught my mood so decided to take a look. There was no menu on display from outside but I ventured in & they were on the counter, there was no pressure from the staff, after a quick scan of the menu I decided to take a table, most main meals were around a tenner so do-able on my work's budget. The food lived up to the smell, portion was too big for me but good value. Staff were really friendly & laid back, even got free veg pakora before the main meal. I'd definitely visit again, thanks guys.
Fantastic food, lovely yoghurt sauce, great curry or balti. Love it in there.
Really disappointed with this place, we’ve had some good food in the past but our last meal was awful. Hardly any chicken in the curry, just peas in vegetable rice. And no sauce with starter. It took ages to arrive and was really bad quality. Won’t be bothering again as it’s also very expensive for rubbish!
It's been around 30 years since I last ate here, not that there was anything wrong with the food or the service. The wife and I had a very enjoyable meal here. It has had a recent makeover and I shudder to think how much the carpet cost. I am pleased they went for soft flooring rather than a hard finish as it helps keep the noise down. The menu is huge, obviously much is a variation on a similar dish but at least it might tempt you in trying something a bit different. It was very busy on our early Friday night visit which confirms it must be doing something right. Indeed they are, the garlic and coriander nan bread was a bit "different" but apart from that all was very good. My Jalfrezi was particularly flavoursome and so was the wife's balti. The chicken in both was excellent. The portions were too big for us to finish, partly due to the complimentary pakora. Prices are reasonable and being able to take your own alcohol is obviously a bonus. I notice quite a few customers took their own soft drinks which I am not sure about. Parking can be a bit awkward but it's well worth a short walk.
First review of 2022 and it has to a special and rare 5☆ review off me. I have been attending/using this restaurant for over 15 years and I have to say I've personally not have a bad meal off them, consistency has been key over those years. Food has always been fresh and good. The last great Balti house left in Birmingham...?
Amazing food and amazing people. Food was great! Especially the Paneer, which is not on the menu. Staff were friendly. Definitely I will recommend
