Never had a bad or even mediocre meal from here. Tasty, piping hot, fast delivery. Since finding Planet Spice I don't bother going anywhere else now. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.
As i been recommended by my work colleagues to try out Planet Spice. OMG!!!, I wish I knew about this hidden gem. The food is absolutely mind-blowing, full of rich flavours, very tender and the herbs/spices added to my meals,10/10 (FACT!!!). Planet spice you have took my food experience to the next level. Planet Spice on Wychall Lane is, without a doubt, my go-to Indian takeaway in Birmingham. The portion sizes are massive—you definitely get your money's worth—but what's really impressive is that they don't cut corners on quality. Every dish is packed with flavor and tastes incredibly fresh. The staff are great too—always super friendly and helpful, which really makes a difference when you’re grabbing a takeaway. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right, but Planet Spice nails it every time. Honestly, I don’t think you’ll find a better Indian takeaway in Birmingham. Highly recommend!
Planet Spice has been our go to takeaway since moving into our house. Their food is plentiful, delicious and they’re very vegan friendly. I decided to leave a good review after I received a phone call asking if we indeed intended to order a chicken rice because most of the other items on the order were vegan. Really impressed with how they reached out and checked when a lot of other establishments won’t do that! For those with dietary requirements, know that Planet Spice (or the workers who dealt with our order, at least) will take them seriously.
The staff are extremely rude. Ordered on Uber eats. Waited over an hour and a half for the order to arrive with items missing. Call the restaurant and was basically told it was all in the bag when it left the shop, and the only thing they could do send the missing items but would take 45 minutes. The customer service is shocking and staff are very rude.
Ordered from here twice now. It arrived in good time, the food was amazing, and the best thing is the clearly labelled vegan options! Loved the mixed vegan sides deal. We got that plus a veg balti and some kind of saag dish. Everything was fantastic, our favourite Indian takeaway!
Our usual take away wasn't answering so tried here. WOW the food was fantastic piping hot and free extras added bonus . A complete dining experience even down to hand towels/wipes and chocolate mint. All dishes loaded with meat and taste. Highly recommended our new saturday/ midweek treat location.
BEST TAKEAWAY / DELIVERY IN BIRMINGHAM Wow absolutely amazing I'm a real foodie tried nearly every takeaway in Birmingham and this is the best by far. The service and delivery is so quick staff are so nice and the food is out of this world. I had a Tandoori Lamb Chops starter with a chicken and mushroom Balti, special fried rice and free papadom with salad, mint sauce onion, 2 free chocolates and a hand wipe for £12.00 unbelievable and the food is amazing ignore any negative reviews they are rubbish. Thank you Planet Spice perfect never going anywhere else.
Update: Changed my review from 5 stars to 2 stars, to 4 stars now. As we gave it another try a few weeks ago. It's definitely improved to last year , but it didn't knock me off my feet and isn't as amazing as it was 4 years ago. It's solid, good food, but not the best curry place in South Birmingham anymore. Left really good reviews for this one in the past but the chef changed and food was awful and completely different than before. Had a text a while back that the old chef is back so decided to give it another go today... Bad idea. The Chicken Tikka Masala Meal I ordered was missing the Rice / Naan it was meant to come with. The sauce was watery, lacking flavour and chicken was quite tough. The family Naan was so dry and crunchy on the outside. The spicy poppadom was a store bought one :( Such a shame as this was our regular Indian, had the best Indian Food in South Birmingham, up to about 1.5 years ago. Had a really good reputation too. Get the old chef back or at least the recipes
